The bard is a win for this show

Geralt and Jaskier duo is all I need in my life.

Lmao Looks like after the Djinn is gone, Geralt finally falls asleep!

Just some short thoughts again:
- Two of our formerly separate story lines met today. That is ought to help newcomers to keep track of things
- The monster of the week-story (Djin) was much more layered in the book, but I've come to expect a... re-telling that is vastly different from the source and keeps only the main ingredients untouched.
- I think Jaskier forgot for a moment that he was about to die, when they entered Yen's... playroom
- I love witty Geralt. I'd like to see more brooding philosopher Geralt though.

Absolutely sizzling chemistry between Geralt and Yennefer. So glad they finally met

Oh dear, that pretty boy is mean/frightening. F***ing shapeshifters :o :D
And RIP Mousack. That sucked... :o

Gerald and Jaskier are funny, as usual. Gerald and Yennefer are interesting too. But Yennefer is getting quite mean - mainly how she treated Tessaia...

That elven doctor was cool :)

Looks like Ciri and Dara are in for a bad surprise... :o

Raggamuffin.....??

This made me giggle

Hey Siri, don’t trust shapeshifters.

Good and nice episode, the genesis of something that may be continued later.
However, the Djinn battle scene was too short and too puny, compared to that in the book.

8/10

Fun for the first impression, but realistically when I’m less starry eyed this rating is gonna go down with some of that dialogue.

The jump forward in time really confused me in this one, without it really being explained. I did so enjoy the orgy scene though, and it was fun seeing some characters united.

Lots of good magic and action and some arcs coming together liking the series BUT come on writers pay attention !!! the doppler didnt have to drink the water ?? kinda lazy i get it though

loading replies

dunno, I'm still confused. I have the feeling this show accepted to be
mediocre instead trying to be epic

Definitely one of the better things that there is a video game of. However, there’s not enough of Geralt doing contracts on monsters.
Though there’s nothing wrong with an episode with a ton of Yennefer nude scenes lol.
It’s also a plus that the timeline is less confusing in this one. At least I think this was current time.

They’re alive. They’re :asterisk_symbol:really:asterisk_symbol: alive.

Please, give me all the witcher jokes. What :asterisk_symbol:is:asterisk_symbol: that difference?

This reminds me of that impossible fight with the Djinn with Yeneffer on top of the snowy mountain in Witcher 3

Another very good episode. Just like the previous one. Two good episodes in a row. Nice. As dull as I find Ciri's part in each episode to be, compared to the rest because I don't hate it, I'm glad we're getting very little of her so far. It's giving more time for Geralt and Yennefer to catch up, timeline-wise. Not only is that a plus as far as getting everything on the same track is concerned, Geralt and Yennefer's storyline, respectively, are both all the more interesting now that they've met each other. Hopefully, it'll now be the both of them having adventures of sorts/an adventure or two while simultaneously catching up to the present timeline, together, not separately, like it's been up to this point. I mean, why else would it go back to the latter now that they've met? Either way, I'm cool with it.

It was a good episode but I see myself more and more drawing comparisons to the books, where the Brokilon section was done a lot better (imo)
