Mark Sheppard could even play a creepy scary villain back then in his sleep.
The adults all ran out of the house not thinking about the kids.
Cheesy but good time, and Mark Shepperd does a good job giving you "this guy is a creep but I can't tell if he knows" vibes.
What is with Amazon Prime saying that this episode has "sexual content"? Unless they think a kiss is, or when they paned the camera up and down on the wife as the arsonist checked her out? They said the same for episode 5 "The Jersey Devil" as well, which there wasn't. They also said nudity for episode 5 but there was a tiny bit of that.
Mark Sheppard did a perfect job once again!
very entertaining episode. I enjoyed it.
I liked the way the fire-starting villain was portrayed. The fire effects, especially the opening incident on the mansion's front yard was pretty amazing. It must have been very dangerous filming this. I don't think I'm too crazy about Mulder's fear of fire. Plus, Scully seems a little to jealous of Mulder's old flame (pun!) showing up from the academy.
Secondary characters in this episode: Phoebe Green
I love Mark Sheppard. He's a baby here! (So are the principals. So was I.)
Ohh that Phoebe was such a b*tch.
Good episode. Always great seeing Mark Sheppard, and he played that arsonist greatly!
Supernatural's King of hell... So young!

Oh my, the future king of nerd TV (BSG, Supernatural, W13, Firefly, Who, Medium, Dollhouse, Doom Patrol..) Mark Sheppard himself. Already then you could tell he was a talent.
Oh yeah, apparently Amanda Pays was supposed to be recurring, but I guess she wasn't popular so she turned out to not show up again. Interesting.
