This is the first time when we meet Alex Krycek, although he is undercover using the name ”Michael”.
Very interesting episode! It had the right amount of suspense. I wasn't thinking that the Kindred are aliens so the end was satisfying for me,
A gender bending killer is on the loose. The duo suspects a group of Amish-like folks called the "Kindred", who are certainly not what they appear. They seem to have a strange sexual command over people and can change from male to female of vice versa. Scully is nearly bedded by one of them because they have a way of seducing. The scene in the cave where they rejuvenate one that has died is odd. I like the ending. The Kindred escape and Mulder and Scully find a crop circle that hints that the Kindred were actually aliens. This one's goofy but I like it more now than previous viewings.

Okay episode. So far the worst of the season in my opinion. The production quality is weirdly low on this episode. Also why are they drying all their clothes out in the rain? At the start of the show watch the eyes of the dead man. While Mulder is swabbing the scratches on the dead mans side he clearly moves his eyes.
How did no one point out that using pheromones to seduce people into sex is rape? Someone who is under the influence of pheromones that make them attracted to someone can't consent, that's like saying a person who's so drunk they can't see can consent.
Very interesting! The plot and suspense were just the right amount.
This episode is extremely gooey and I enjoy that.
Ok episode but a little jumbled with the plot.
Solid. 6.5. I'm confused, very open ended.
I'm just not buying it. Weakest episode of the season so far.

KRYCEK?!! That was entertaining to see him, even as 'Michael'. A good 'monster of the week' episode
