The first episode to explore the abduction of Mulder's sister by way of another family's encounter with aliens by Lake Okobogee. The little brother of the abducted teen becomes a "conduit" because he picks up a Defense Dept. transmission in his mind and writes it in binary. This has the scene of Scully seeing that all of the little boy's scratchings of ones and zeroes is actually a picture of his sister when all of the paper is arranged.

I never liked Kevin, a very creepy child actor. But I like this episode for giving us more details about what happened in the past and why Mulder became the guy he is now.
Ok episode, very Poltergeist inspired with the whole TV thing.
