The monster in this turns out to be nothing more than a wild woman who comes out of the woods to scavenge and occasionally attacks unfortunates who get in the way. It's a mostly Mulder episode.

Known as one of the worst episodes. I like it since it’s still a pretty decent Mulder episode. With Skully at one of the weirdest kids birthdays I ever seen.
Not my favorite episode but at least it's not "Space"
I really like this one but gets only a 6 as the most powerful feeling throughout the episode is hate for humankind :sweat_smile:
Never liked this episode too much. It's ok but nothing special. But the last scene with Scully and Mulder is gold. :)
