Liked the episode, too bad about what happened with Aqualad. Would've liked to see more of him
It was a good episode.Even if they kind of telegraphed what was going to happen. Once I knew Aquadude was in the flashback I figured out what was likely to be his fate. It did take a few minutes before I realized he was Jason from PLL.
What I didn't like was the pace. Especially near the middle. I've also grown to really dislike when a show does something exciting then switches tracks the very next episode to something else, making the viewers wait another week to get back to what they really want to see. It's a cheap trick that to many shows use.
Well it was pretty clear what the bad thing from the past was once we're were introduced to a character who isn't around in the present. Pretty generic attempt at making us care about him with some half hearted romance storyline. All for a build up to a death we saw coming.
Jericho seems so sweet. A nice intro to the character.
Here we go again. Showing a flashback episode at a point I couldn't care less. Add all the unnecessary romance that for some reason always creeps into any show and we got the third episode in a row I started doing things other than watching. Which is usually where I part ways with a show.
So much melodrama in this show.
Not my favorite episode. Too much attempt at character chemistry when I am not seeing any and character development for someone I don't care about.

The titans as a whole bunch appear more like addicts than heroes, but hey that's ok, it's kind of a theme in this show, and works with its overall darkness.
But the whole Donna/Aqualad thing... no. She acted scared around him, rather than "oh no I'm actually attracted to you but I can't do this because reasons"... might just be the actress who didn't do a good job, but then there's a lot of other people on a set who would be able to direct it right (cough)... because she just gave off the vibe like he'd done some really messed up shit with her in the past, instead of what actually is. Which took the entire point away. (That this wouldn't end well, we all knew, I mean, "ghosts" and all that, as heavily hinted, and no trace of him. Oh well.) Bleh. Come on, be more convincing.

Garth seemed pretty cool. Maybe it felt that way to me because Drew Van Acker has some sort of unexplainable appeal to his roles. It's unfortunate what happened to him, but I don't see him returning. At least not in this season. This season is already crowded enough as it is. And we still have nine episodes left so it may get even more crowded. As much as I liked him, I don't think it would be a good move to have him return.
It was nice seeing the old Titans in action, but I wish they'd stop showing/talking about Titans' heyday so damn much and just focus instead on giving us a fully assembled, organised and active Titans team in its current form. So much procrastination feels like it's hurting the show. It sure is making it more difficult for me to enjoy it.

Weird seeing Aqualad and Smallville’s Aquaman together lol.
Great episode though. It made me want to see Jericho join the Titans. Then I realized he was Deathstroke’s son and that Robin might have killed him.
