I think a little too much drama is blown up over "Is Ultraman our enemy?" when the reasons he took his actions in the last episode should have been perfectly clear, and did still resolve the situation, albeit without unnecessarily killing the kaiju. It would be more interesting to build a broader conflict between our on-the-field team and the military commanders who always coldly watch from a control room. Maybe that'll still happen, we'll see. Though I am interesting in a conflict continuing to play out between Gento and Blazar as they're still learning to trust one another and the nature of their symbiosis still has yet to be explained. Gebalga is also a great monster design with his waggling arms and EMP pulses. Definitely a worthy foe for another 2-parter.
