I don’t think this needed a second season. The first season was so good when the powers were left in mystery. Also alma is super annoying and pushy. I don’t like her in this season
Alma is fuckin' insufferable in this season.
[Prime Video] An unnecessary second season that reinforces the same flaws that the first season had. A story about the need to change the past that, in the absence of developing the main idea about the psychological conflicts of the characters, invents a kind of soap opera around secret children that is banal and boring.
The animation doesn't get much better either, sometimes too plain (Alma wears the same gray t-shirt most of the time to make the rotoscoping process easier). And, as was the case in the first season, it is not understood why, for Latin characters who communicate most of the time in Spanish, they choose actresses of Latin origin such as Rosa Salazar or Constance Maria who barely know how to speak Spanish.
This is the best TV show no one is watching right now and it's really sad. The animation here and the lore is spellbinding and so original one wonders if it could even get produced today knowing Amazon and other streamers now find more value in big budget shows like Lord of the Rings. Anyways, I do believe the creators knew this was the end since the final episode does act as a finale and it was way back in 2019 when this show hit, it's been two years and not many people remembered it. Either ways I do hope people stumble onto this when searching what to watch next.
Good and entertaining but completely unnecessary second season.
NOTE FOR MYSELF SO I REMEMBER SOMEDAY, ONLY REPRESENTS MY OPINION/THOUGHTS FOR MYSELF NOT A “REAL REVIEW“, SO YOU MIGHT NOT AGREE WITH IT
(also its not my 1st language)
Unfortunately I don't exactly remember what I thought of S1, but I remember enjoying it more than this Season, now Alma is insufferable and really fucking annoying and DONT YOU KNOW YOU JUST DONT MESS WITH TIME DAMMIT.
Like not even a mention (from anyone) of how it would affect the timeline and all the normal questions that come up with time travel?!?!
Sure the dad lowkey mentions it but not really, more concerned how it would affect the family but that's it, meanwhile time travel normally sets the whole world at risk. It just annoyed me that they didnt make a bigger deal out of it, and if someone was concerned with it then only bc of their own life.
the family storyline was okay but meh, not as interesting as the last season
and did I mention how annoying alma was? like seriously get a hobby and chill for a second with the time manipulation?!
she acted like a little kid crying she wants her lollipop and throwing a tantrum when someone says no, just pushing and pushing to the point I wanted to slap her (don't worry I´ll never have kids xD) , I think I liked her a lot last season, but definitely can't stand her this one.
This season was much better than the first one. Hopefully I didn't miss anything, but I really enjoyed it.
“Undone” could have gone in dramatically different directions after the end of the first season, but unfortunately it just went for more generic family melodrama with even looser time travel mechanics. It all boils down to a simplistic feel-good story about accepting that life is not always exciting, and that not all problems can be fixed. But was that really the case? Because despite the sudden turn of events and final statement during the last five minutes, the show had spent most of its time offering simplistic solutions to the most delicate troubles. As if preventing one single event or conversation from happening could fix everything without messing up an entire timeline. Surely there are times when the most trivial things can have a big impact on our lives, but I don’t think that was the point of the show either.

That's core of the whole story.
