An excellent first episode, perfectly establishes everything that makes Utopia great while also being a cohesive and tightly written hour of television. OST was great as always and loved the way certain scenes were shot. Can't wait to watch the rest.
Really note sure what the hype is all about. So far a very mediocre conspiracy show. There are some interesting tidbits, but that is definitely overshadowed by poorly written and uninteresting characters. There is an attempt at drama, except I don't care about any of the characters, so the drama is just a waste of time. The conspiracy and mystery isn't developed enough to be interesting either.
The show definitely thinks too highly of itself and takes off running instead of taking the time to lay down a good foundation for the characters and the story. The pacing is all wrong.
What sort of moron walks over to a guy that just pulled a pipe out of a bag and then turns around and stands there to be killed?
The next guy asks if he can go. Really? Just go. There is no one between you and the door. Just roll under the security door and leave.
Please tell me this is not the level of writing to be expected from the rest of the show... the first few minutes are just downright awful.
Then the IM text... could it be any more difficult to read?
Who else came here cause of the football factory? Yes Neil Maskell is brilliant.
Where is Jessica Hyde? :D
The series is really funny, especially the music and sound effect, so hilarious!
I couldn't stop laughing in the contract part, that was a big LOL :D
