1996 Russia. A subsidized government delegation goes to Bulgaria to meet the prophet and the modern miracle-Wang. The TV delegates are joined by delegates in the hope of interviewing an extraordinary woman. Among the group, Wang singles out intern Alice, who will testify about Wang's confession of heart. As the woman's narrative slowly develops, we discover the love lost in the middle of the war, numerous difficulties in the post-war period, and learn the secret of Vanga's mysterious past. The events will be intertwined with key figures in the history of mankind: Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Yuri Gagarin. Vanga weaves the story into an elaborate network of interconnected events that lean into a fixed past, the immediate present, but an open future for those who are willing to see.
