But really, his behavior is better explained by his decades-long business career. Trump repeatedly broke the rules, exploited loopholes, and settled court cases without admitting wrongdoing or suffering serious financial harm. And Trump's experience isn't unique. America has a long history of treating corporate law breakers with far more leniency than other criminals.
