REVELATIONS! This was perfect and wow so many easter eggs and that ending,..
It may be from the 70s-era style that this one parodies/homages to, but the ep doesn't feel as charming a sitcom throwback as the previous two, with a more stop-start rhythm. Olsen is still having quite a showcase though, and Dottie's husband's "Oh thank god" after the blackout does get to me.
Well we can add this to the list of episodes to skip when it becomes binge-able. Easter egg or no it's still so very slow which marvel is supposed to be very fast pace at some point in their production, however if you're a fan of the Brady bunch then this is more your speed.
This show shouldn't be allowed to use the Marvel Studios intro.
This is something different. Scarlett Witch is one of my preferred MCU characters since she showed up in Age of Ultron but this show has nothing to do with it. I know in this episode there is some reference to AoU and his brother but it is taking too much time to get there. Elizabeth's acting is extraordinary but I don't like the path phase four is taking. If upcoming Loki, She Hulk and The Falcon and the Winter soldier will follow the same path of this show, differing from canon we are used to, I think it will not be good for future Marvel Cinematic Universe Films.
This kind of experimenting can bring to you (Disney) new audience but I can assure that you are really getting upset old and loyal fans. You should evaluate if the new audience will end up in cinemas paying to watch movies or will pay extra for them on Disney+ (as you already did with Mulan).
Three episodes to show that we are in some kind simulation is not tolerable.
From me this is the third 1/10 in a row. Probably it's time to give up the show and read the plot sometime on Wikipedia.

A step down from last episode in my opinion. It wasn‘t all that funny but the ending definitely saved this one.

That last 10 minute of episode 1000/1000! And calling names of Pietro and Ultron! I really love that universe things which it's almost like (with all series and movies) 5+ nonstop days long movie! So we can see this kind of goosebumbs and easter eggs! And this show kind of a dystopian series! Acting and all directing is great. Wanda's mood and House of M vibes!
Marvel Presents: Truman Show!
A big leap in reveal this episode but still not enough for some people apparently judging by some comments.
It's not that deep a show, it's just a bit of mystery! I for one am enjoying the ride!
It's the first time in years I'm actually intrigued by a Marvel story.
Fuck, this was dreadful. I wouldn't even watch this as a sitcom, so why have we got an MCU show with all of the same clichés?
Now that I have watched 3 episodes of WandaVision (great and fun show), I want the BBC to cast Paul Bettany as the Doctor. He’s got it!!! I think Ralph (Agnes’ husband) is Mephisto. Now that one of the most famous LGBT+ duos from Marvel Comics are here, Wiccan and his twin brother Speed (Billy and Tommy, The Vision and Wanda’s children), I think that it is inevitable to think that Emperor Hulkling (Billy’s husband) is on his way too! Also… the Young Avengers team is slowly assembling behind the scenes. We got Billy and Tommy, Kate Bishop, Riri Williams, Kamala Khan… you get the idea. And Kang the Conqueror (Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania). An evil time traveler and the team’s most representative villain!
the "agnes winking" meme comes from this episode but honestly it feels like that meme's been around for ages before and that confuses me
The confrontation between Wanda and Geraldine is eerie and menacing. And when the neighbours are gossiping about something they don't want to let Vision know; I became quite scared for Vision.
Wanda scares me.

Geeks go like wow that’s a S.W.O.R.D. necklace. Other people go like “I wish I was a geek but now I have to google it”. Page turning episode. I wish the next one comes with a lot more of the reality and, of course, a lot of 80’s hair styles
Well, that was muuuuuuuuuuuuch less awfull than the first two episodes.
Looks like a Truman Show rip-off
So we have color now :) Unfortunately still with a laugh track and in a 4:3 aspect ratio (until the end where they switched to a cinematic widescreen standard like 2.35:1) though...
So there was a second "correction" and towards the end we're finally getting somewhere but I still cannot make much sense of it. It felt like a simulation but apparently this is still happening in the real world (which raises new questions like are all other people real and how can they make these "corrections")? Not even sure who the good and bad guys are (I have a slight feeling that the guys at the end might be with Hydra).
Edit: After reading some of the other comments it might make more sense that Wanda is doing this and the guys on the outside are with S.H.I.E.L.D. (trying to contain her magic and one agent trying to figure out what's going on). But then again a lot of things still don't quite add up. Who knows...
So Wanda has all these people trapped in her own "version" of the world. It is interesting to see that some of them are aware of this and Vision almost started to put things together sensing that something was off but Wanda keeps reversing back time whenever things tend to deviate from the narrative she created. Also Geraldine seems to be sent to find out the truth about what is happening. She might be working with whoever we heard in the previous episode trying to reach out to Wanda to know whether this is her own doing (which apparently it is) or if someone is forcing her to do this.
I loved the aspect ratio change once we were back in the "actual" world. Looking forward to the next episode! I have to say Elizabeth Olsen is just nailing all the different changes in the different sitcom versions.
Well, this one's in color so I guess that'll make a lot of people happy. I've always disliked the '70s aesthetic, the garish clothing, the goofy hairstyles, the paneling. Everything about the pregnancy plot is irritating. The strange behavior of the neighbors is mysterious and sets up the ending, which is undoubtedly what people watching the show desired.
They did a great job ramping up the weird mysterious stuff! The pieces are finally starting to fall into place.
This one is a step up from the first two disasters, but that's an extremely low bar to clear. It's three-and-done for me, and I'll just check out a recap of this self-indulgent show each week from now on. It'll be a lot less annoying and less of a waste of my time.

I don't mind waiting a bit to see what's going on, but I'm getting tired of there being so little actual story and so much homage/recreation of silly sitcom stories from different eras. Yes, I have some ideas as to why it's like that, but unless you're super into that stuff, it's pretty boring to watch.
The release schedule doesn't help. Why not dump everything on day one Netflix-style? Watching the whole thing in a day or two would make more sense with a story this thinly spread.
This shit is tight as fuck.
[7.6/10] I didn’t like the sitcom material in this one as much as in the prior two episodes, but I liked the dramatic/horror material even better, so it balances out. It’s hard to say why the 1970s sitcom stuff didn’t work for me as well. It didn’t quite have the zip or the verve of the 50s and 60s parodies. Wanda wandering around her home with Geraldine, trying not to reveal that she’s pregnant or the weird stuff resulting from the combination of her powers and her labor didn’t have as much comic zing as the boss dinner or magic act.
But what it did have was some (I think) clever commentary on television conventions, like how quickly kids grow up on TV shows and how sitcoms used to come up with zany ways to try to hide actresses’ pregnancies so that they wouldn’t have to incorporate the babies or pregnancies into the show. There’s at least some high concept fun to be had.
It’s also a nice episode for the effects team. They come with a lot of creative ways to show Wanda’s powers tricking out while she’s having labor pains. I particularly enjoyed the appearance of the stork, replete with red smokes that fails to shoo it off, and an Untitled Goose Game-esque effort at blending into its surroundings.
But more than anything, I like the deeper confrontation of horror and tragedy that’s been lurking at the edges of the show coming to the fore. Details like Vision telling Wanda something seems wrong only for her to clip things back again gets your attention. The neighbors cutting through partitions and whispering about what they’re really doing here without spilling the beans feels freaky. And things come to a head when Wanda and Vision’s twins are born (a cute resolution to the “Billy vs. Tommy” debate by the way).
It introduces a note of grief to the proceedings, as the babies’ arrival isn’t just a cause for joy for Wanda, but also a reminder of her dead brother, her lost twin. There’s a subtle sense of grief running through the show, and maybe the sense that Wanda is trying to escape from it here, wherever here is.
It also gives us the clearest look at Geraldine, who is, apparently, not like the other residents of Westview. She knows about Ultron and seems to be trying to get through to Wanda in some way. It’s a striking conversation between them, one of the scariest in the show, with Wanda seeming downright frightened when the sanctity of her world seems to be threatened. There’s a certain sense that maybe the other residents are prisoners here, held captive by Wanda’s abilities and emotional turmoil, and I’m fascinated to see where that goes.
We also get the sense that Shield or some other governmental force is monitoring the situation, and perhaps that Geraldine was sent in to try to distract or get through to Wanda.
Overall, I am loving the concept here and the hints at the margins of what might be wrong with this scenario. I certainly don’t want to wait another week for more!
Once again the most interesting part of this whole fucking show is the stuff that gets the least amount of time. I could not care less about the sitcom shtick and I wish they would stop ripping off other shows when it serves little purpose except to make this all ridiculous when it could've been so much better.
In the movie Far From Heaven, you get this practically picturesque town and home life of a housewife in Connecticut. It's gorgeous and full of colors and 50s/60s "retro", what have you. It looks so perfect and lovely yet hides all sorts of ugliness underneath the perfect veneer of "All American Dream". Imagine that kind of set up but with horror and mindfuckery and that could've been THIS FUCKING SHOW.
Each episode continues to disappoint.
Each episode shows me how this would have been better served in a binge-watch (if they ever fucking do anything with the reveal).
Each episode annoys me with a pointless, obnoxious laugh track.
And each episode has me not giving a single damn about this couple or buying into any of their "chemistry" or love. This relationship was developed completely offscreen, and now I'm just supposed to believe they are some shining example of True Love because Marvel clearly wants Young Avengers? Nope. Not happening. I demand better writing and pacing, thank you.
Olsen and Bettany are very talented and capable actors in other projects but here, I can't buy anything between them.
The pacing is just painful and not at all suspenseful. There's tension and then there's annoying the shit out of your audience. This show is the latter.
This show continues to be the epitome of "my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined".
This show is terrible. They spend soo much time ripping off shows Bewitched, I dream of Jeanie, Family Matters, Brady Bunch, Lost, The Truman Show, Stepford Wives, Rick and Morty (the episode where they're inside a simulation) and more. Except they don't get any of it right. They have none of the humour or tension of the shows that they are parodying. Then in the last two mins of every episode they do throw in a lame attempt at being suspenseful or ominous showing that something is 'off' with the world. However this does nothing to progress the plot, develop the characters or genuinely build suspense.

So in the first two episodes we were like in the 1950's and especially the first episode was so much like I Love Lucy. In this episode we're like in the late 1960's. I haven't seen any 60's comedies only some excerpts from The Brady Bunch and this looked exactly like it.
This is definitely getting better and better by each episode imo.
Hopefully the sitcom stuff is not gonna keep being overplayed. Just because they are commiting to that idea it doesn't mean it is fun to watch.
At this point the only thing that this series has to offer is the mystery that we who have the least bit of imagination can imagine: that Wanda is living a fantasy and bla bla bla. I don't think the series is having anything meaningful to offer to its viewers, more than keep the fandom engaged in what they know and what they consume.
How in the hell does any of we’re seeing relate to any of the MCU movies??? This is confusing and cheesy all in one. So far the marvel series still being played on Netflix are far better to watch

But they need to mixed up the formula next time. Start with the creepy stuff and than switch to sitcom and make it random eventually of course.

things have to heat up after this, cause wanda never had kid's and in the comic's this was alll Wanda's doing.
Finally - we are getting someplace!
As per the title, WandaVision is "Now in Colour" and it's just as spectacular as before. It's sights are set on 70s sitcoms now and the results are just entertaining as the first two entries, particularly in the production design and colour scheme. If anything this feels like a recreation of Mork and Mindy, which is a fitting show to emulate for this formula, and the actual plot of the episode not only is a great self contained piece of comedy but also moves along the actual background story which is a bonus.
And yeah, this is where the background story really seems to start to be taking center stage. It plays up the horror angle much more then I was expecting, and it's genuinely creepy at points. Wanda's sudden rewind in the middle of the episode is meta but it's one that serves a greater purpose beyond being a stellar usage of the medium - it's also the first true sign that she is indeed the manipulator behind events. And the end of the episode is a huge sudden shock to the system, to the point where it's no longer clear if this is even a story about a heroic figure anymore. The final shot in particular will linger in your head.
