Holy misery porn. They really just had her grandma drop dead like that. Come the fuck on. This show is starting to piss me off.
“Hard to be a white man in America right now” it really went there huh… On one hand, it's pretty funny, on the other hand, come on... I feel like we are sinking lower and lower for the lowest hanging fruits imaginable.
Also this show is trying to convince me that the dumb fucks over at the 7th Kavalry can supposedly do what Ozymandias couldn’t? (Capturing/defeating Dr. Manhattan that is.) Sure.
Keeps being intriguing for the abundance of mysteries alone and Dr. Manhattan and whatnot, but boy am I not excited to watch The Leftovers anymore if this is the supposed genius of Damon Lindelof.
Of course it's gonna be the most normal, grounded in reality character! I guess name was hinting at the twist)
Goddamn it, what an uneven ride this series is being so far. If only they could have balanced weirdness with metacommentary - using "trapdoor" and also commenting on using "trapdoor" is tad bit to much sometimes.
Wait, whaaaaaaaaaaat?!
This is Legion level confusing stuff.
A goddamn showstopper. Lindelof is top-tier. If you'd asked me two years ago if anybody should adapt Watchmen I would have told you absolutely not. The best of one medium is nearly impossible to replicate in another.
And then this series happens.
Mr Manhattan is the elephant in the room!
So many revelations and mind-bending twists! Next episode promises to be even more BONKERS.
Okay, now somewhere is being got. It took seven episodes, but I have an inkling of an idea of what's going on now, thanks to this episode. I don't know why it happened with this particular episode and not way back, but it happened. And this was the best episode so far, too.
One of the better episodes. I think the big reveal kind of came out of nowhere.
DAMN DAMON back at it again with the exquisite shit!
One of the most ambitious shows I've ever seen. Holy cow.
broooooooooo this show is bunkers
I love Lindelof, and so far this show has many great ideas, but this was just another episode (or the last 5 minutes at least), where I felt that he's so awfully tense to do something big that honors the original comicbook and gives it regularly nods (fanservice, even), but in a way to also form it into something new, a new continuation with the contemporariness, new meanings and his own style that its just too much to handle. And that feeling of insecurity is what's bothering me the most.

Why are welistening so much to the Lacrimosa from Mozart's Requiem?
I'm sure it's no coincidence
