Accent 355 is seriously hot. Good start. I find it harder and harder to really get invested in shows at this stage of life (low 60s). I've seen all this before. But I like a good apocalyptic romp so OK let's have go...
Painfully slow start, until a surprisingly traumatic twist (given that I knew what was coming).
I am ambivalently surprised at how well the lead actor is playing the eventually loveable man-child of Yorick I read in the comics.
feeling this so far! excited to see where it goes from here!
It's a pretty good start, with decent dramatic writing and solid performances. The inciting event is dramatic and well-done enough. That being said, I don't think the unique setting had a chance to shine in this first episode yet. Still, this looks like they're gonna handle the source material with appropriate heft, so I'm quietly optimistic for it. Slow burn, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
..wait, they’re not ruining the source material!? Dare to dream, dare to hope that it might be awesome!?
Looks good, cast good, sound good. Fingers crossed they can keep this up!
So the escape artist escaped death? Thats a bit on the nose isn't it? :joy:
Pretty slow start but will keep watching.
