Another enjoyable episode of Koumei, it seems like the continuing structure for this series will be Koumei pulling out a strategem from his past life to assist Eiko in garnering crowds for her performances and to thwart her competition. It's really fascinating seeing the strategy Koumei will use to gain a victory for her, man I really like how this show is taking advantage of it's isekai aspect to further the plot, with Kouemi being bale to pull from his long history of being a tactician to help Eiko with her dreams.
Regarding today's episode, it also gave some more solid characterization of Kongming, with us learning about how Konming's using this second chance at life to avoid his regrets of not seizing every moment with those he cares about (in the past life he didn't attend a farewell drinking party for soldiers who'd later be killed cause he was busy with work) as he spends time with Eiko and Kobayashi. Also, it seems like Eiko is also another way for him to spread peace throughout the nation, continuing on the goals he and Lord Bui Lei had back in the Three Kingdoms era, with Kongming believing Eiko's beautiful singing could entrance and bring joy to people worldwide. With Konming's assistance, I could definitely see Eiko becoming a world-renowned artist, with the ending of today's episode seemingly being a step in that direction (with the dude who showed up towards Eiko presumably to sign her). I'm also glad Eiko is gaining some more confidence in herself as a singer, with her finally starting to believe in Kongming's vision for her in the world of singing, and no longer stuck to the belief that she is not talented enough to gather a large fan-base for her voice.
