Vanessa, Doug and Adam host a retrospective of the show's first eight years (including then-rare footage from the 1979 season and from Whatever Turns You On). Filmed in the spring of 1987 and planned as a home video release which never materialized and was remade in 1989 with new cast members and a shorter running time.
Two teenage boys, Alasdair and Kevin, out camping in the Ontario woods are abducted by a spaceship and are held with two other captives, a cat burglar and a teenage intellectual, by two aliens who take them on a trip through space and time while Alasdair and Kevin and their two other captives try to figure out the aliens agenda for them.
Because of the 25 year anniversary, the cast (having been doing the show all these years, but is so bad that no one will air it) are given one final aired episode. Ross is retiring, Brodie is given the new Chez Barth's, Vanessa (who is with child) and Marjorie are up to no good, and Alasdair and Justin are mad because they weren't in enough scenes. Things are changing...but, is change good? Will the kids finally be relieved of their duties at the show as the ultimate change? This is the official reunion episode of the series.
Unlike the 1987 version, this special was commercially distributed by Elektra Entertainment, and runs only half an hour instead of an hour.
