Yugi is shocked as Jonouchi uses the Time Wizard card on him, the very card he gave Jonouchi as a sign of friendship! However, as the two battle each other valiantly and one comes out the victor, they find confirmation of the strength of their friendship that surpasses any duel.

Yugi prepares for the ultimate battle against Pegasus with the souls of Grandpa, Kaiba and Mokuba on the line. Meanwhile, Honda and Bakura infiltrate the castle to find the Kaiba brothers, but at this crucial moment, is Bakura turning back into his evil self again?

Pegasus punishes Yugi using the same Toon Deck and mind-reading abilities he used on Kaiba. As Pegasus turns Yugi’s monsters against him, Yugi loses the will to battle. Will Pegasus capture Yugi’s soul into a card, just like Kaiba?

Yugi has found a counter to Pegasus’s mind-reading ability: Yugi switches back and forth between his two souls! Yugi is able to destroy Pegasus’s Toon World, but the duel has just only begun. The next level of the deadly Shadow Game is about to start!

Yugi crumples in exhaustion under the crippling power of the Shadow Game. His friends yell desperate encouragement, but their voices cannot penetrate the sphere of darkness. Yugi’s chance at victory is slipping away, as is his life!

However, this will not be a Duel Monsters duel, but a new game named Dungeon Dice Monsters!

In exchange for Jonouchi’s freedom, Yugi agrees to give up Duel Monsters forever if he loses. Unfamiliar with the rules, Yugi gets off to a rough start. His chances do not improve as Ryuji reveals that he designed Dungeon Dice Monsters with Pegasus’s aid! Can Yugi learn the new complex rules, much less form a strategy, before he is soundly defeated?

From the depths of darkness, Rafael calls forth Guardian Dreadscythe, a ravaging reaper that can never be defeated... for it resurrects automatically! As the invincible sickled stalker shaves off the Pharaoh’s life points every turn, how can the Pharaoh survive this onerous onslaught, much less rescue Rafael from the darkness feasting on his soul?

It’s time for the endgame! After discovering the location of Dartz’s secret base in the middle of the ocean, our heroes are on their way to stop Dartz once and for all –with the entire navy as their escort! However, Dartz’s island is magically guarded with thundering maelstroms and tornadoes that prevent anyone from approaching! Can they reach Dartz before he resurrects the lethal Grand Dragon Leviathan from its millennial slumber?

Dartz shows Yami and Kaiba the history of Atlantis, how the Orichalcos drove them into insanity, and how he lost his wife. In an attempt to save his people, Dartz made a contract with the Great Leviathan to use the Orichalcos to purge mankind, in order to restore "paradise." However, he was stopped by the three Legendary Dragons and former King Ironheart. Back in the duel, Dartz plays the second layer of the Seal of Orichalcos, Orichalcos Dueteros, and he uses his Mirror Knight Calling to summon his four Mirror Knights, each containing the souls of Yugi, Joey, Pegasus and Mai. However, if the Knights are destroyed, their souls may be lost forever.

Dartz plants the souls of our captured heroes into Mirror Knights to use them as puppets to fight the Pharaoh and Kaiba! How can the Pharaoh duel when attacking Dartz may force him to attack Yugi? Does he dare risk eliminating his best friend forever? Our heroes better beware, for this is the least of Dartz’s malevolent manipulations as his dark designs come to light!

It’s a multi-pronged attack as Dartz adds a third ring to Seal of Orichalcos, stopping the Pharaoh and Kaiba from doing... anything! Even when they manage to attack, Dartz’s Orichalcos Kyutora absorbs all damage! Furthermore, to add insult to injury, Dartz summons the thundering Orichalcos Shunoros to pound the Pharaoh and Kaiba into pancakes! It’s game over, for even the guardian dragons are little match against this battling behemoth!

Kaiba’s soul has been captured, leaving the Pharaoh all alone to fend for himself against the invincible forces of Dartz and the Orichalcos! Will his friends reach out from the beyond to give him one last fighting chance before the Pharaoh sinks into the inescapable depths of despair? For in the darkest time of need, hope still resides among the legendary dragons as they reveal their true identities...
