A landmark of North Frisia are the countless sheep and lambs. Simon Lossau is a dike shepherd on the North Sea coast, just before the Danish border. He shares his passion for sheep with his wife Anna. She often cooks with lamb and likes to try out new things like pulled lamb, plucked leg of lamb, with oriental spices.
A life in the mountains - since their studies the friends Gian Luca and Andrea had this dream. In the mountain village of Bosa di Careggine they run a hostel in the Italian region of Garfagnana. Their passion: collecting herbs. Together they cook traditional dishes from local ingredients.
The Finnmark is located in the far north-east of Norway. It is the largest and most sparsely populated region in the country. For many years it was threatened by economic exodus. Ever since the king crab settled here, there has been a real gold-rush atmosphere. Its meat is in great demand and can be prepared into simple but delicious dishes.
