To my surprise I really enjoyed it. No masterpiece by any stretch of the imagination and the animation is rather mediocre, but still a very entertaining fighting anime with interesting characters and a good back and forth. Hopefully it won't take too long until the second season arrives, since there is a lot of story left until the finish line.
This whole season felt like a goddamn setup for season 6 and I'm a little bit angry about it...
Still very enjoyable, but also slow and too much filler.
At least there's a lot of hype for season 6 now.
The timing of Naomis call was a bit too convenient (some smartasses would call it plot armour xD), but other than that great stuff.
I know what they wanted to do here but personally I don't think this show needs a whole episode that's basically a dream sequence.
Jackie Chan would go bonkers if he'd see all these fast camera cuts during the action so that nobody can follow what's going on... xD
Wooah, did not expect to see Scott and Stonebridge there at the end! Nice surprise. But I guess they'll only stay for the next episode.
Did they change the whole production team? Because EVERYTHING went from amazing to average (at best). I mean even the action is dumb for the most part.
Stormfront is all about female empowerment but also a sadistic racist? Damn. This show really isn't afraid of anything and I love it xD Can't wait for the moment she gets killed by Kimiko.

The last couple of episodes kinda dragged a bit, but I gotta admit that I got pretty addicted to see what was happening next.
So I guess there will be a second season ???
The movie did a much better job to make you root for the tailies.
Also for whatever reason I can't bring myself to like Layton as the main character.

Our main character showed a tremendous amount of stupidity in this last episode and he STILL got away (at least so it seems), LOL.
I never read the book so I'm only judging from what I saw in the show.
The main character is a bit lame and the story sometimes cheesy, but other than that I don't have much to complain.
It's a nice little fantasy show to enjoy in one sitting. Sets, locations, effects and costumes are great.
Also, the ending of season one gives you enough closure if it doesn't get renewed.
Wow, pretty big story twist there at the end. I like it.
Maeve is a dumb killing machine now, lol.
Hopefully we don't have to wait 2 years for season 5 now...
