RIP Hana Kimura.
This season is cursed.
It was slow but I really liked how serious the story is. It's about life and death. No kiddie-videogame-like story, where nobody dies und everybody is safe and happy. I hope it get's a second season to give us more background informations.
Simple, funny and hot trash from the 80s. I love it
Not what I expected, yet it was terrific. Can't wait for more.
Really liked the brotherhood between the main characters.
Just annoying that they canceled the main female lead because of a DUI, just felt weird that she was gone all of the sudden
The bad guys were really despicable though and you will be very mad at them from time to time while watching xD
I think I've watched Stargate now 4 or 5 times. Atlantis the same. Still one of the best shows ever made _
The last couple of episodes kinda dragged a bit, but I gotta admit that I got pretty addicted to see what was happening next.
Awesome show. But just a warning: If you're one of those weird "sex is bad" type of person, this is not for you, lol.
An epic saga that spans over 4 decades.
Brilliant acting, great storytelling. Intriguing characters. A perfect mix between action (battles) and drama in the political scenes.
Think Game of Thrones, but with more battles and without fantasy elements.
But bring some time friends, 95 episodes are a lot. It's worth it, believe me.
Great series, very underestimated. Marton Csokas makes this show very enjoyable. But unfortunately, the main character is not that likable from time to time.
To my surprise I really enjoyed it. No masterpiece by any stretch of the imagination and the animation is rather mediocre, but still a very entertaining fighting anime with interesting characters and a good back and forth. Hopefully it won't take too long until the second season arrives, since there is a lot of story left until the finish line.
Don't expect over the top fights like in Baki. It's very realistic. Very well done
Season 1 = Peak Science Fiction
Season 2 = A big mess
If you ask yourself "should I really watch this?" I'm telling you: YES.
Give it a shot. This show is a feel-good monster. If you don't have a good time watching this you can sue me
Could have been shorter and there a some serious plot wholes but other than that it was a good watch
I get the criticism from the real people and players who're portrayed in this show, but still, it's a drama series and not a documentary. And man it is one hell of a grood show. Happy to see it renewed for a second season.
I never read the book so I'm only judging from what I saw in the show.
The main character is a bit lame and the story sometimes cheesy, but other than that I don't have much to complain.
It's a nice little fantasy show to enjoy in one sitting. Sets, locations, effects and costumes are great.
Also, the ending of season one gives you enough closure if it doesn't get renewed.
The pacing was very fast. They could've easily stretched it out for 24 more episodes to give all the characters some more screen time and development. That said, it was enjoyable. And it's nice to watch an anime with a real ending these days.
Very good show. First season was better though, imo.
Wu Xiubo, who plays Sima Yi, does a phenomenal job. He always commands every scene he's in.
Didn't like the last 10 to 15 episodes. But the ending was alright.
I would recommand watching Three Kingdoms before this, to understand the overall story and important characters a bit better, at least it helped me.
Fantastic anime. Very grounded and mature, but with so much charme and fun. Great main character and supporting cast.
The only bad thing is that it has an open ending, and it doesn't look like more episodes are coming in the near future...
I think the show has potential, but Christopher Egan was a bad casting choice for the lead character. And he walks really... weird o.o
Too bad it got canceled :(
Liked the chemistry between father and daughter.
Great show, Silvio is alive!
