two fucking r*pe scenes in a single episode*..................... fucking gross
*i'm watching with the netflix ep division
4/10
it’s painful that Zendaya is in this (and doing an absolute amazing job) because then I am forced to watch it and even tho so episodes are somewhat worth it, others like this one are literally the most pretentious empty weird self-important 60 minutes of tv. sigh. at least Zendaya is in it.
this is possibly the worst written show ive ever watched and i actively watch soap dramas. but goddamn it those first few seasons all those years ago made me fall in love with these characters enough to put up with the horse shit of the last handful of seasons.
wtf the first two eps this season were so good, ep3 was okay but then ep4 and ep5 were awful????????????????? jesus christ i was so hopeful
the comments saying this is an honest portrayal of modern teens................ @ american teenagers are yall ok? is everything ok at home? this show's like everything i hate about american culture but i guess i should have seen that coming. won't be watching it again, which is disappointing cus i love zendaya and she's so cute in this :(
EDIT: i watched the whole season and the way the show’s directed, edited and generally its technical aspects are amazing. some issues are delt with really really well (rue’s depression for example) but everything else is just very much still an extra american teen show that makes me cringe every time i have to remind myself im watching the lives of 16 and 17 yos.
6/10
listen..... Che and Shades deserved better
this season wasn't very good...
only have season 9 left to catch up on and then season 10 with the main man back in town ayeeeeeeeeee
this show lowkey makes me uncomfortable now lmao not sure if that speaks in its favour or against it tho
It was an okay ending.. I felt like they were too ambitious throughout the season and then couldn't really deliver at the end. The whole Agatha witchery stuff felt low budget and badly acted (the actress excels as Agnes, in a comedic register tho). Highlights were the Vision vs. Vision confrontation and Wanda in her final Scarlet Witch costume. The after credits scene with Monica was exciting too! Now I cannot wait for Falcon and The Winter Soldier!!
i remember reggie and joelle were my otp in s1 and 2 but i don't remember half of their arc anymore because of how shit my memory is and how long it takes for these seasons to come out jhfhajhs either way i'm still mad this was all their episode is... im so confused about what is going on with reggie, i need answers.
this felt a bit awkward and cheesier than usual, but i loved seeing how jack dealt with meeting his brother again back in 92.
This seems so exciting, very much looking forward to watching the rest! Also, the lighting work was gorgeous in this episode - I bet the cinematography is gonna be to die for in this show.
only 5 episodes in and they already have me weeping like a baby
God this episode was so freaking special and inspiring and uplifting and important. But the end ruined it. Goddamn it.
the writers/directors decided to have as much fun as possible on their very last season and it’s marvellous (pun intended). it must be awesome being on this set!
this is finally starting to feel like old school shameless again, bless
finally watching this iconic show and my GOD i thought run producers were insane but the ppl in charge of bon voyage are just another kind of crazy
This show is fucked uuuuup but it's so well made.
HERNAN SHADES ALVAREZ IS MY BABY AND I WILL PROTECT HIM
goddamn it i don't think i've ever loved an ensemble cast so much
This show is doing a better job at creating an emotional conntection with characters than any other disney plus show so far (with the exception of maybe wandavision)
this is honestly the funniest sitcom right now
Whyyy did it take me so long to watch this season????? This is one of the best efforts from Marvel ever.
Only two words needed: Josh O'Connor.
such an awesome episode omg
Absolutely loved the directing in this episode, I didn't even know Lucy Liu was also a director! The pacing was better than the entire season 1 put together. Promising start, but I see she didn't direct any other one of the episodes.. So we'll see. I hope Claire sticks around but she's listed as a guest star, so who knows.
The acting and the dynamics in that dinner fight scene were off the charts. I love this cast.
wish i could attend some kind of masterclass with the people responsible for writing the screenplays in this show.
this whole show just honestly feels like a treat for the fans who've watched every little thing in the MCU, and even more so I imagine for fans of the comics. It's the MCU "offspring" that's felt the most like "this is for the fans!!" and not as much a "you can consume this movie/show on its own so don't be turned off by all the movies that came before!" type thing. I love it, it makes me feel so proud to understand every single movie reference.
im too dumb for this show honestly, but all i know is that im having the best time ever watching this season, it's just so fun and creative
