Rewatching this show made me feel really nostalgic
I love hollstein
The whole team really did the best they could with the budget they had, so that's why I give it a 10
I wasn't expecting to be invested in the plot. I started watching this show because I was curious, but I was pleasantly surprised. This is a kids show, yes, but it teaches some good lessons, and the story is interesting. But, I'm not used to watching show produced in the early '00, so I didn't expect sexism. I think it's annoying that girls, on top of fighting for the world, have to face and deal with sexism. Also, Azula isn't really a complex character, but more the representation of a hysteric teenager. It's true that Katara and Toph are interesting characters that are well written, but they still deal with sexist comments.
And also, isn't this show a bit racist?
Wow, what a great introduction to a show! This cartoon is so progressive and wholesome. I'm happy kids can grow up with such good representation of healthy interpersonal relationships. I'm still confused as to where the plot is going, excited to continue watching it
Take out the misogynist stuff that are clearly attributed to the '90 and this is a great season
I do appreciate the comedy of this show. It's easy to binge while laughing
I do wonder what's the plot. They are adventurers, yes, but more than that?
My interpretation so far is that it is a satire of those adventure shows
Not the best season, but I will say it is also not the worst. I loved seeing Scorpia's arc. She deserves it. This season really made me enjoy her character more. Worth watching bc of it. On my second watch, seeing Flutterina really annoyed me. Double Trouble wasn't as bad, but the kid UUUUUUGHHH
This show tackles mental health and trauma in such a beautiful way. You can relate to the characters. Yes, it's not as good as the original show, but it's still a pretty good epilogue.
Rebecca Sugar is simply a creative genius. I need more stories told by her!
I started watching the first original season of this show after watching 3 episodes of the season on Netflix and being a bit confused. I decided to give the version that I found on YouTube a try, and I must say: WOW! The animation and colors are beautiful. It's wholesome, makes me think of Adventure Time and Steven Universe.
I love it. I'm so glad I found this show. Looking forward to continuing it.
My only wish would be for the season to be longer than an hour
Definitely not as good as the first season, but I still enjoyed the few last episodes. There were rushed, but still really entertaining
This season was so epic! I really liked the Red Lotus and their political views of the world
It's also a plus that this season didn't have that much romance
This season is so good. Catra is hurt and it's interesting to see how it's unfolding. There are some really great scenes and dialogue. Definitely the best season so far.
I already liked the first season but season 2 was so great! I'm excited to watch more of this epic show!
I really don't know why I stopped watching this show back then. Now that I've picked it up again, I AM OBSESSED
This season was just so so so good
I actually prefer a show where everything is happening fast. It's easier for me to follow. So Korra, season 1 is perfect for me so far.
I already really appreciated the Avatar's universe, but to see a female Avatar is even better. Korra is an amazing protagonist.
I really like this show.... except the love triangle. I couldn't care less about Mako and Korra.
It took me time to get invested in the plot, but now that the team is assembled and started their journey, I can say that I enjoyed this season. Great plot with some good heartwarming moments like in Avatar! Hoping the animation will improve tho
I need a second season after this ending damn
I feel like season 2 was even better than season 1. We got the chance to see more side character's storylines.
I'm really hoping there is going to be a season 3
Wow! The second I saw that movie was produced by Natasha Lyonne and Maya Rudolph, I knew this was gonna be iconic
I mean, so many straight rom coms out there, it's so important to have representation
I'm just overall so pleased. It was really funny and relatable. Yes, it was cheesy, but that was the point omg
I loved it, sad that it got cancelled. I don't have ed but I struggle with mental health issues and this show felt like great representation. The ups and downs were really relatable. Great queer representation
I hope there is going to be a second season, I need more
Such a great representation of intersectional dynamics and oppression
This episode felt longer than usual
I loved learning more about Marceline's backstory
Such an interesting character!
WOW
I wasn't expecting to see Micah! Good plot!
SOOOO happy Scorpia and Entrapta are back!! I missed them, they bring a lot to the show
Not the best episode for the drama or adventure but definitely wholesome and worth watching
Madame Razzle is such an iconic character! I love seeing her again
LOOOOOVEE the Scorpia/Adora dynamic, something I didn't know I needed
I didn't know it was going in that direction but I'm excited to see what's next
That episode was one of my favourite since the beginning of the show
Catra needs for validation and revenge is interesting and I need to know what's going to happen next!!!
When life is rough, but Catradora is endgame
Legit the healthiest moment of that show: Scorpia putting her boundaries
