Is anyone else just confused by this? I feel I have no idea what’s going on
Meanwhile the journey of Aang is about a human being turning into an Avatar,
Korra's journey is about an Avatar turning into a human being. Just as brilliant and as incredible as The Last Airbender. Unfortunelly, some peopole does not sees it that way.
I really think some people don't understand the history behind the "history" that are watching at all. Many people 'see', but not 'observe'.
This series have a lot of connotations, such politics and social, from a showdown with a dictator; unto to release of real feelings. Almost all characters have a full evolution of her personality... even Naga hahaha.
At first I agree looks like a little child's series, but think is a masterpiece in all respects. I recommend this series to all public, seen or not any other series of the Avatar's universe.
PS. James Cameron's 'Avatar' not included. xD
The end of the movie was the very first time I agreed with one of Wanda's actions... Good thing it was her last action too.
Can't wait for the next movie!
On the surface this film is about a group of people who have been labelled “villains”, working together to save the world. But really, this film is about one man and one man alone, he isn’t strong, but yet he defies all odds and sacrifices his life to save his friends. His only power is his bravery, he is the driver of the van and the main character of this film, Milton.
Nudity :handshake: HBO. That scene was horrifying and unnecessary.
Not sure how I feel about it so far, maybe because it's just one episode. Interesting setting, so I’ll give it another go and see if episode 2 is better.
I hate how they are framing Amerie as the centrist candidate and making it seem like the Cumlords are equally as bad as the SLTs. Like they’re literally openly misogynists. why was switching sides to them seen as okay??
and the fact Sasha is framed like some annoying gay like she’s genuinely horrible and that has nothing to do with being woke
"How bad is it?"
"Could be worse."
"But how‽"
"Could be my arm."
It’s good to see Sofia do a role that’s non stereo typical. Def surprised me with her acting. Good job.
E2 is a little slow tempo, but I do really liked it as the color and composition there. Also the performance from Ke Huy Quan is such good, I like this character
holy shit that music, first person view sequence was stunning
Nailed the goodbye scene between Sanji and Zeff. Thank you OPLA.
the scene with anne and her thermometer :joy: god i cant believe theres only one episode left this season, this show is so GOOD
This is a fantastic show. Great drama, great cinematography, and most of all, great character development.
They have run out of monsters.
Oh my god, that cold open was awesome.
Usually I can't stand Andy but here I'm speechless. So nice to see!
Ugh what's Marcus' problem???? Like Deborah said, how can you be jealous of a 25 year old??? and honestly Ava just minds her business. And Marcus' job is to run the business behind Deborah, not the comedy, so why does he consider Ava a rival??? And if Deborah's best interest was in his heart he wouldn't have made an elaborate plan to ruin her relationship with Ava and mess her state of mind just before her big show. He's so pathetic.
And Ava should've told Deborah about the interview, cause since Deborah's show is ending and her plan is to get signed up somewhere else and set up a new show that's probably gonna take a couple of months? Sometimes Ava's idiocy irritates me a lot, but also sometimes I feel like I'm Ava, I still have my fenty pumas too, except mine are the furr slides.
When the most hated sonic design becomes his own character and becomes the best part of a movie that isn't even his.
The easter eggs, references, and visual jokes were the best part. Unfortunately, it was a total sausage fest. Even the secondary characters. Like almost zero women. One you noticed it, it’s all you saw. And they sidelined Gadget to maybe four minutes in the entire movie when she was the best Rescue Ranger of them all. Also, that was a slammer, not a pog.
General Amaya's Sign language during the grave scene:
Hello Sister.
You were my heroine.
Perfect, strong, unwavering.
Kind and true.
I'm sorry, big sister.
I have failed.
I had your boys safely with me, but let them slip away.
When leaving Gren:
I trust you.
You were my voice.
Be my will and save the boys.

Iroh: "Well, ever since I lost my son"
Zuko: "Uncle, you don't have to say it"
Iroh: "I think of you as one of my own.""You rise with the moon, I rise with the sun." — Zuko
8/10
very strong season 3 (which is actually season 2 part 2). Missed the princess squad action, but I recoginze the need to sacrifice their screen time for the development of Catras and Adoras core story arc.
I am really astonished by the strong emphasis on Entraptas moral development. This is really a modern take on She-Ra, telling a story on the moral side of tech. Entrapta is the Silicion Valley tech genius, helping an imperialistic army, without questioning the end that justifies her means.
I wonder what it is, that enable animated tv series mainly aimed at kids to tell stories with diverse and morally ambiguous characters, making even the meanest adversairies relatable and the most empathetic protagonist showing their flaws in the end, while big, multibillion dollar production sturggle with even developing an interesiting villain.
I am getting so angry at the way Amerie is getting gaslight by Malakai. It doesn’t matter whether he’s bisexual, he was stringing that girl along for no reason. He was basically trying to be with two people at the same time and that just sucks, no matter how you look at it. Amerie deserves someone who only has eyes for her and that’s just not him. Honestly, it’s so frustrating to see her pining away for that guy; she’s gotta find someone new!
what a terrible friend harper is. AWFUL person.
Cash is cleary Asexual i wish Darren would understand that
okay i know this ep is supposed to be sad but like… cash and Darren? and polycule maybe??? iconic
Malakai and Douglas staying out of the whole "masculine cop show", and Malakai vehemently shaking his head "no" after they got asked if the boys didn't got the same SA ""education"" as the girls, were big BIG green flags! (Also, the suuuper outdated "don't give pr*dators a reason to attack you" picture was WILD.)
Fuuuck, poor Malakai at the end... :(
Did not like the threesome tho (Couldn't they have just consoled him as friends? Really everything has to revolve around sex?), and that everyone just left Amerie alone, like wtf.
