Meanwhile the journey of Aang is about a human being turning into an Avatar,
Korra's journey is about an Avatar turning into a human being. Just as brilliant and as incredible as The Last Airbender. Unfortunelly, some peopole does not sees it that way.
I really think some people don't understand the history behind the "history" that are watching at all. Many people 'see', but not 'observe'.
This series have a lot of connotations, such politics and social, from a showdown with a dictator; unto to release of real feelings. Almost all characters have a full evolution of her personality... even Naga hahaha.
At first I agree looks like a little child's series, but think is a masterpiece in all respects. I recommend this series to all public, seen or not any other series of the Avatar's universe.
PS. James Cameron's 'Avatar' not included. xD
This was so gay I loved it!!! Cool story too with good characters
Damn this was wild ride. At first glance The Ultimatum: Queer Love did not seem very interesting, but at the end of the first episode I realized I just had to have more - and therefore watched the whole series within 24 hours. I found myself rooting to some people which I may not have initially thought to, and growing deeply annoyed towards individuals who at first seemed at least mildly likable. Great reality, for sure!
I didn't realize it was over... And was watching the finale. Realized it about halfway through. I'm seriously upset this gem of a show is over. The characters are great, and so is the style.
Yes, it's not Gravity Falls. Is it supposed to be? Honestly... People and comparing things. Just enjoy things for what they are.
This show is supposed to be this way. That finale was incredible anyway.
That final version of Luz, I have to say was so awesome. The Titan one. The line she says while ripping Belos off the heart is my fave in the series
Vibrant colors, memorable characters, creative stories, and beautiful animation! This show is awesome for anyone from children to adults!
Netflix better renew this, love it. getting addicted to characters more
non-spoiler initial thoughts
this show is AMAZING!
super well-written, tight paced, really great music selection, visuals, acting, etc
there is ACTUAL character growth and complexity in this show, so if the basic romeo and juliet storyline for the first two episodes seems kinda meh just know that it goes WAY deeper than that as the show progresses
there are some pretty complex character and storyline interactions here and they're all excellently done
I'm sorry whoever ur name is but jake t. austin will always be jesus foster to us
This show is an epilogue to Steven Universe and it's amazing. If you have seen sequel series like Naruto Shippuden then you have a small idea of how this will be. The biggest difference is that this is a very finite and emotional end. It's take on childhood trauma is therapeutic. It's wrap ups for each character is fitting. It's hard to end a show right but this definitely satisfies an impossible expectation to somehow love saying goodbye to beloved characters.
Beware, beyond here there be glimpses of the future.
The original series has whimsey, action, silly, and impactful and groundbreaking moments, a lot for a kids show. This epilogue takes you through the aftershocks of facing life with a smile. Stevens loss of self control and descent into madness results in him watching himself become the biggest baddy yet. To start it delves into growing up and coming to terms with having the world resting on this child's shoulders. Toiling to control the growing resentment towards his family, Steven has to also juggle new powers and learn how to be a normal person with normal friends. Seeing the once loving, obnoxiously happy Steven Universe struggle to realize that his father lived in a van down by the river, neglecting him, to see his surrogate mother figures realize they used Steven as a therapist, to see him distance himself everyone he hold dear is hauntingly entertaining. This much depth of character is hard to see in a kids show but it definitely handles moderate adult themes in ways a child can understand and a parent can appreciate while watching together. I love this series and never did I expect this show to be what it is.
