A terrible series in an even more terrible time.
I actually wanted to stop watching it right after the first episode, but then I was curious to see if it would stay this one-sided portrayal.
Poor people who are born into this conflict that becomes their life - on both sides of the border.
Overall, I don't like the one-sided portrayal of Israel's point of view, the glorification of violence and the anti-Semitism towards Arabs.
The series would have been a chance to show the conflict on both sides of the border in a human way.
Unfortunately, this has resulted in a one-sided ideological portrayal that glorifies and legitimizes violence and portrays all Arabs as an untrustworthy, violent group.
As a German, I am ashamed because this series is a co-production between Israel and Germany.
We have given millions of Arabs a new home and live together here in peace.
Our constitution and past prohibit the different treatment of people of any origin or race.
This should have been incorporated into the production.
The end of the series in particular shows that the producers' only answer is to stop violence with the help of other violence.
And that is precisely the only message of this series.
1/5 stars
Most boring season so far, as tough as chewing gum.
Somehow the series has deteriorated massively and exchanged its pioneering spirit for a depressive espionage character study.
The eternally aging actors are deeply tiring and it slowly becomes more than unbelievable that they are still on active duty in space after decades.
At least after 10 episodes we finally find out what happened to the asteroid.

Great series, every episode is "on point", great setting, great season finale that ties up almost all the loose ends.
Someone really knows their craft.

The fact that the film was shown here right after Resident Evil meant that I thought it was Resident Evil the whole time.
I think that says it all.
Zombies swapped for monsters and that was it. Picture, sound and visuals 1:1 Resident Evil. Almost no plot, the usual fight scenes in a dystopian world full of stereotypical characters.
I think it could have been marketed better as a Resident Evil spin-off.
Boring.
In my opinion, it doesn't live up to the hype.
I haven't read the books and was looking forward to unique sci-fi. Unfortunately, what was delivered was a terribly boring, sci-fi-tinged cheap drama with no content - stretched out to 8 lame episodes.
The story offers such an incredible basis that I really don't understand what went wrong here.
Especially with such a budget... the majority of it must have been spent convincing the board not to write off the entire production without broadcasting it.
In any case, I bet that there will be NO second season and if there is, it will definitely be without me
God was that bad.
Jurassic World Insect would have been the right title.
I miss the energy of the first part, the refreshing sci-fi elements and of course the dinosaurs.
It was as if an AI had remixed the biblical plague of locusts with Wolverine and Jurassic World elements
A really, really terrible Movie. It seems as if an AI wrote the script and mixed all the successful films of every genre.
Then there are the terrible sets, effects from the 90s and the usual idiosyncratic Netflix look.
This is not SciFi, not fantasy and not action. A new genre like “cheap AI” is needed.
I will never watch the second part and recommend that everyone not watch this part either.
Heartless Waste of time
Surprisingly good. Great setting, interesting story and exciting despite some weak moments. Definitely an insider tip for fans of horror and sci-fi. Hope for a sequel
It was so nice to see them reunited after so many years
A masterpiece. Completely different from other films and that's exactly what makes it so special. Full of stars who don't take themselves too seriously. 4 years and 19 directors later, a wonderful social and Hollywood satire has been created. Completely underrated
MODERATION EDIT
SPOILER WARNING: This contains spoilers for future episodes.
It is the IT Departement :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
The Earth in Silo Series is poisoned with nanobots that have a detrimental effect on the human body.
50 Silos were built, and since each Silo can house up to 10 000 people, we can assume that 500,000 people are ready to “restart” the civilization. Only out of those 500,000 people, the majority is “scheduled” to die.
The immediate area outside of Silo is still toxic because nanobots are being pumped into the air to maintain the illusion of toxicity. Plenty of other areas on Earth are clear of danger, and it’s possible to survive without any protective gear whatsoever.
It was never the plan to let all 50 Silos survive. Only one Silo that performed the best in terms of intelligence, health, obedience, and other aspects was supposed to “survive.” All other Silos would eventually be destroyed, leaving only “the perfect specimens” to restart the civilization.
This was the role of the I.T. department. They are keeping tabs on all Silos and collecting population data. The Silo that performs the best gets to live. All other Silos were supposed to be annihilated. And this is why the illusion of danger and toxicity needs to be maintained at all times since not everyone is supposed to survive the apocalypse.
At the End Juliette will be sent to clean, Walker from the mechanical ensured that her protective suit wouldn’t be tampered with and the heat tape used for the suit would be legitimate. Her suit, therefore, didn’t have the leak, and she managed to survive long enough to reach Silo 17, and this is kind of the beginning of the end for the whole Silo project in general.
