Please don't watch, Ji sungs drama series or movies, doesn't matter if its erotica or normal romance or anything else. it's an warning, you'll fall for this 44 year old married guy, who is also a proud father of two beautiful daughters.
Even though at first his looks doesn't matches with your preference but he is extremely talented and maybe his personality will mesmerize you.
And having feelings for 44 year old Ajusshi is wrong! Having feelings for a responsibile father is wrong, having feelings for a loving husband is wrong.
This film felt like a project to showcase the actors and actress skills in conversational interaction practices. It does reminded me some what of "The Table" where these characters meet and talk about subjects which the take-away of that movie was how the actors and actresses perform the scenes and their body language and facial expressions is essential part and main focus.
Slow and methodical film with a simple plot. There was an actress in this movie which did call my attention again, actress that I dint knew was in it to be honest, which is Lee Joo Young. This is the second movie I see that she partakes with a complete overhaul of her persona. The other movie being "Believer" where she does a mute character whose performance was great.
Overall a good documentary on the events, but the narrative is more partisan than it should be for accuracy purposes.
The ending message of the documentary: don't vote for Trump in 2020 because they're at it again - personally, I think it is a poor way to end when you try your best throughout to seem impartial. I'm not a fan of Trump, but you should abstain from hypocrisy.
The bigger issue, which is touched lightly here, is that the great tech giants are not regulated in the ways they traffic your personal data. Preventing targeted campaigns is crucial, but it comes at a price... user data currently pays for the infrastructure of Google and Facebook, and then some; commercial ads are one thing, political ads are another - only the former should be allowed worldwide, but even then what's the criteria?! There are lots of commercial products which are bad for health, should they be allowed to target the public at all? No, they should not and this conversation also happened with TV ads.
The issues arising from this are deeper and much more complicated than this documentary reveals, but I guess we have to start somewhere. Starting with ourselves, and our lack of understanding about how our data can be subtly used against us.
