I f*king cried, Luke at the end & R2 ?! best episode ever. This even tops the sequel triolgy for me. You know, this even makes 2020 a good year. 10/10
bro, where are they going to take this in season 3. im so intrigued, i have no idea!
Above all else, this season is about how certain types of men treat women, how they build structures under and within the patriarchy that give them impunity to do so, and how women either accede to these conditions—or push back and are punished. This episode is the most clear-headed articulation of that thesis (if I'm correct in describing it as such), and it's absolutely devastating.
Jake: Ok, seriously what's going with him?
Rosa: It's a whole thing.
Jake: Is it going to screw up the plan?
Rosa: It's more quietly self destructive.
Jake: Sounds good. Terry, do you.
Even though I'm the biggest fan of Holt & Wuntch throwing insults at each other, THAT was the best interaction in the episode. LMAO.
I enjoyed seeing Hitchcock and Scully having more air time, and I specially enjoyed seeing them working with the rest of the cast separately, because the show often packs them as a single item. I understand their humor is known as being more crude, but I think it balances out with all the other different styles on the show.
Talk about an entrance!
And I thought that vader fight scene In rogue one couldn't be surpassed.
It was and then some.
So, it's the end of the story for the little green one?
I hope not.
That was a real heart-in-throat suspenseful episode throughout, especially with that content warning upfront . Hamm's face morphing throughout that long take as the cover plays (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5AUGWgBt_EM) is just so chilling and foreboding, then the following sequence, including the bit with the chain, is an early contender for scariest TV scene of the year.
Also, RIP Danish  Dave Foley was such a fun supporting presence; at least he got a pretty forefront episode before this character went.
I'm glad that this was not a case of an intriguing and genuinely good pilot episode, followed by a bland rest of a season, like it tends to happen a wee bit too much in these days of the abundance of TV series. The fun and quality that was originally presented to us was steadily kept throughout the whole season, and it ended in a very satisfying and comfy way.
After these six episodes, I got vibes of Pushing Daisies (because of what I mentioned in the pilot episode), Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency (for its overall quirkiness), Supernatural (a demon named Crowley and the whole bromance thing), and Stranger Things (kids on bikes trying to save the world — and, yes, I know Stranger Things was hardly an original snow). But, in the end, Good Omens was its own thing, and quite some of the most refreshing TV time I've had in a while. And it's impossible not to love Michael Sheen's and David Tennant's ineffable chemistry on screen.
A special mention to the little girl of the gang... Shows these days tend to shove SJW characters down our throats (the "politically correct" is becoming such a nuisance), but the way they handled her character turned out to be both adorable and hilarious! Characters like her often annoy the hell out of me, but she actually provided some genuine comic relief while trying to sound serious. Unintentionally or not, I say well done, show runners!
Also, did Agnes Nutter foresaw season two?
A SURPRISE TO BE SURE, BUT A WELCOME ONE.
I smiled when I saw that face Gideon made when Luke entered the light cruiser. He was talking about how certain his victory is, but his confidence went from 100 to 0 within seconds.
I can't believe Disney let Favreau and the team let Grogu go! I'm sure we'll see him next season, but if we don't, I'll be damned. I applaud Favreau, Filoni and whoever made it happen.
Also, it seems the culmination of Mando's character arc in the last episode progressed to him comfortably revealing his face in front of not only his friends but Gideon too! Wow. It sad to see Din look Grogu in the eyes, as the little one reached out and touched his face.
The next thing I should mention is Bo Katan's statement. She said there would only be a quarter of a hundred on board the light cruiser, but I swear they murdered at least 40 people. I nodded my head when Gideon said.
Moff Gideon: "And I imagine that they've killed everyone on the bridge, being the murderous savages that they are."
The plot was predictable, but it doesn't hinder my enjoyment of this episode, just like every other one. The Mandalorian is just too much fun with its non-stop action and earned fan-servicey moments. I love it, and I know I'm not alone. I can't wait for Season 3 and the next Lucasfilm projects to come!
Final note, it's weird they'd call (what I assume to be) a TV series "The Book of Boba Fett" I don't know, I find it funny.
TECHNICAL SCORE: 7/10
ENJOYMENT SCORE: 8/10
ok , smoked some DMT and went back to watching it. mona....still...sucks...but ...I somehow liked her a efforts in this one. I'll take back what I said earlier, but she needs to work hard!!
besides that omg what a nice show!! Eva finally said something funny after just crying and bitching the entire season about not getting enough sizzering time but when she said we were nip-notized lmao Good on her.
9.8/10
PS. get john his own show. he's too much of a character to have so little screentime.
What an amazing end of this season. Truly worthy and at the same time sad that there is no next episode next week...
