Enjoyed it more than I thought I would to be honest! But what bugged me was that Foster (I think it was him?) mentioned that Miren was getting close because she found out about the ped* site, but then this ended up having (seemingly) nothing to do with Amaya's story. At the very end of the finale they showed a picture of a girl/woman, but I am not sure if this was supposed to be related to what Foster said? I hope there's a season 2 to follow up on that.
Unlike many others here I have never even heard of the movie with the same title. I found this accidentally through twitter and thought, "huh lesbians and I recognize some actresses so I guess I should watch it". But man, oh man!!! I did not expect to like it this much?? It actually has a good plot which is shocking to be quite honest! Also, people are complaining about it being woke because there are lesbians while so many TV shows have only straight people, and no one bats an eye. C'mon now, let us have one show with lesbian leads! It's still extremely rare to find a show with so many lesbian characters and with lesbian protagonists...
Anyways, this show made me want to learn how to play baseball :^) Great A+++ show, funny as hell, emotional, and still manages to hit some relevant topics about racism, sexism, and homophobia. I truly hope it gets renewed for another season!!
holy fuck, season 2 gets tenser and tenser with each episode! Watched the full thing in one day, couldn't even walk away from my screen! So fucking good, I hope it gets renewed for a third season ASAP!!
I actually thought this would be yet another movie that I would shut off within the first 15 minutes but man, I actually REALLY liked it!!
I still listen to the songs from this show. It's insane how relatable they are, and the whole series to be honest. Last season made me so emotional in the best way. Perfect ending. By far one of my favorite TV shows ever

Really enjoyed the beginning but after a while, it felt like the series was just dragging on. It also felt like they kept trying to make twists and turns on the plot and trying to make it super complex but, to me at least, it ended up falling flat. Disappointing, because the acting was great and the premise was actually quite interesting... Not even sure how I would rate this.
I rarely ever write comments/reviews, but this show was just... God, I cannot even put it into words. It had been such a long time since I last sat down and watched a whole show in one sitting, avoiding to pause even to get food, watched without multitasking... But this show, well, it truly captivated my attention, it held it for the whole time. I do not want to give anything away, however, the writing is impeccable. It is funny at times, but insanely heart-wrenching at others. So much of it felt incredibly realistic, and not only did I truly care for the characters, but I also could see parts of me reflected in them. I truly TRULY hope it gets renewed for a second season because I desperately want to know what will happen next. I want to see more of the characters' journeys.
I didn't know I needed a documentary about same-sex marriage in France made with TOYS, but good god I loved this. I want more documentaries in this format, it was incredibly entertaining and educational!
This gets a 10/10 because it accomplished the nearly impossible task of making me cry.
But, for real, this movie was... God, it exceeded all my expectations (which were alright quite high)! I adored the acting, the dialogue, soundtrack choice, plot -- everything! It was a moving movie while remaining very true! Some parts hit me square in the face, and I absolutely loved this. Very heartfelt and with important life lessons!
not gonna lie, I'm only watching it because Dichen is in it. Powering through the first two seasons but it's so over the top patriotic i feel like my eyes will never recover from all the rolling
