Loving this 70s period-scifi piece so far. Nice space missions, human drama, very 70s. Everyone smokes all the time, everyone drinks all the time. My kind of fun.
I started watching this with absolutely no expectations, and was pleasantly surprised.
It's a great alternate history twist on the moon landing, and while I initially thought the novelty of core concept would wear off rather quickly, they've actually done a really good job at crafting a broad and nuanced "what if" scenario. It's a nice example of how one small difference can yield all sorts of unexpected results, and by the time I was around say... three episodes in, all the other series on the "currently watching" list had been sidelined by a need to find out what would happen next.
I'd definitely recommend giving it a try if you find the subject at all interesting.
Been catching up on this show on Netflix. So many seasons to go through, but this show totally rocks!! ... and the Winchesters... GORGEOUS HOTTIES!!
This is the best drama I've seen in awhile with a great OST to boot.
As a big fan of the original Wallander I must say that I really enjoyed this first season. Okay, it’s not even close to the original (but no series can imo) but as I said: I liked it. And if watched closely you can even see the characteristics of the later so famous old Wallander.
It’s a decent show. More a feel good crime show where everything is wrapped in a happy bow. Plot holes are common but it’s not really the intention of the show. It’s simple. Similar to how Hudson & Rex is. I only have one complaint and that is that the intro theme is awful. Whoever wrote that jingle and approved it should never work in TV again.
I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to see literally anything in a drama. It had that sweet friendship between men, beautiful romance, lots of scenes of just being good humans.
And then it was also a supernatural show so there's the grim reaper powers and goblin powers. There's ghosts and reincarnation. It's been a week or two since I watched it and my mind's still buzzing. it's one of the first dramas I would actually watch again just for the nice warm buzz it gave. So rare for shows to actually touch you like this did.
I can't express how incredible this show is. The acting is phenomenal, the plot is (mostly) believable, the soundtrack is repetitive but brilliant, and it overall just makes your heart swell from the love and friendship expressed throughout. Do yourself a favor and watch this incredible show.
I loved every single episode until now! I'm already at episode 8, I don't want it to end :(
