This serie is not creíble.
As usual the show wasn't released and had five 1* votes.
Anyway this is a fresh take on the 87's movie with Michael Douglas and Glenn Close.
It's told in a retrospect kind of way (seems to be the only way they write shoes nowadays) but it's not hard to follow.
They released 3 episodes which I think was smart and allows you to get involved with the plot if you liked the pilot.
Good cast and I really enjoyed the first episodes.
If you like a thriller and haven't seen the 1987 movie do see this. If you seen the movie but like me you are a sucker for a fresh look on an oldie, give it a shot.
Edited for typos.
Oh man I can't wait to see Peter Bishop solve this Fringe case
Totally binge worthy
Literally got hooked after ep 1
Peter Capaldi is exceptional as always
I really enjoyed this and recommend it!
Wherein the Dude most definitely does not abide. Bridges and Lithgow both fantastic. Great story thus far.
Really great first two episodes, looking forward to the rest :thumbsup_tone2:
Really interesting pilot, Jeff Bridges characters background is mysterious and im excited to see where this goes.
Great show, so good acting. 5 episodes is perfect, no artificials sides stories.
Must watch!
thought this would be a show i'd dump after 1 episode based on lukewarm reviews but man this was so much better than the reviews lead me to believe, kept waiting for it to go off quality-wise but it never did. you can quibble about how explicitly gory it needed to be given it was based on true events with real victims and at what point it slips into exploitative territory but that didn't really bother me (understandable if it did others)
Jessica Biel - best acting I've seen from her, never expected much from her acting-wise and she really surpassed my low expectations
Melanie Lynskey - reliably good, easily switching from oh-god-I-hate-these-type-of-people to feeling bad for her and back again
Pablo Schreiber - daddyJolly Green Jizzface Jonads Jonah Ryan - dude was so nice as a dad
Justin Timberlake - his appearance was mad distracting
directing & editing on point too
Pretty decent crime drama. It got so slow in the middle but the 5 episode format was perfect. The acting is great. The haircuts are hilarious.
Oh man, this was one hell of a limited series. Elizabeth Meriwether told the story of one of the most baffling revelations in medical history but used her amazing quirky humour to tell it. Elizabeth Holmes is not a figure that's easy to sympathize with but Amanda Seyfried gives a humane portrayal of a shady entrepreneur (from the looks of who'll be up for an Emmy this year, Seyfried definitely deserves the prize). Solid performances throughout with some very cringey moments to make viewers laugh or cover their eyes. I know Adam McKay and Jennifer Lawrence are trying to do a film about Holmes, but this already did it. Solid.
this thing is EPIC !!! IT CAN EASILY BE THE NEXT GOT, the story is fantastic and addictive, best thing that came out of 2020 lol
This is not only one of the best Sci-Fi shows to come out this year, it is one of the best shows the come out this year!
The Good Place + Black Mirror = Enjoying too much!
serie is light fun to watch . not serious .
little bit sad moments.
