Ending was disappointing, why didn't he get with either of them in the end?

@anonymousse I think of this movie more as a coming-of-age story rather a romantic one. Charlie ended up alone because he still has to find himself, and wasn't ready to have a mature, committed relationsip. On one hand, he's just realized his feelings for Sebastian, who definitely wasn't in the right state of mind to have any kind of relationship with anybody. Maybe in the future, with Sebastian growing apart from his father and making his own way, they'll be able to become a couple. And as for Tim, they were good together, but Charlie didn't feel ready to leave NY yet, and he shouldn't have to leave his whole world behind for a man. Like he said to his mom, when she noted how much he's grown, he didn't feel like an adult yet, which Tim, being older, understood, and that's why he said that it wasn't the right time for them. Not yet.
I absolutely loved the really inappropriate song at the end and the funny spoof tv show of The Deep at the beginning. This show has always been about parodying superhero culture and corporate America, but this season is reaching new highs.

@anonymousse This might be the highest amount of effort for parody purposes, and I love it.
