this couldve easily been two if not three season of high political drama, but all we got was a weird conjumbled mess of events with fantanstical plot points to tie it together and crammed in one season. im quite disappointed. read the book, the actual events that transpired were so much more entertaining.
they even changed how james died, for what reason
even saying "inspired by" is a stretch sometimes lol
i guess if you dont know the island sardinia that they were flying next to half the time its easier to make it more suspenseful

the idea was good but the premise kind of makes no sense? did his dad not see his football uniform all those months? but when his son suddenly has an ad with them he decides to look them up? if they’re the clubs biggest sponsors i feel it should’ve come up way earlier.
i need the present storyline to actually get interesting or this show couldve just fucking dropped it and just had the story in the woods and flashbacks to their high school time. the wilds definitely did it better.

i want monetary compensation for having to watch kate and martin "playing house" for 45 minutes. i was close to barfing the entire time.
you would think a zombie movie where literally every character just starts to die out throughout the plot would maybe TRY to make you like the characters. but i guess that's just to much to ask! silly me, i guess i did just have to hate almost every single one of them. also, it seems that every bit of common sense was thrown out just for the sake of absolutely unbelievable fight scenes.
ALSO was the bomb not a NUCLEAR bomb?? literally no matter if they all wouldve gotten out or not, THEY WOULDVE ALL DIED OF RADIATION POISONING! why is the dad giving his daughter money to go save the children in the camp, when the camp got fucking obliterated by radiation anyway?? and the ending with the dude stuck in the safe was also incredibly unsatisfying. how did the dad turn in 10 minutes but that dude almost went a day without turning. at least follow your own fucking rules set in the universe.
there is taking liberties with the source material.... and then there is making a story that completely writes itself into a corner, when two books are still out there and now completely impossible to film.
jesus christ this was an infuriating episode. why the fuck is miller strolling around eros like hes just on a walk taking in the sights?? while missiles are about to hit it and the crew on the roci was basically dying trying to keep up with the rock. also i dont know why some people are saying this was a beautiful love story with a complete arch when it was just a completely one sided obsession by a creepy man who calls the julie "kid" and then two minutes later just kisses her?? SHE HAS NEVER MET THIS MAN BEFORE THIS SCENE WHAT IS GOING ON? i fucking hope hes dead for real now i dont want to see this dumbass storyline picked up again.

episode four and im still asking myself why danny and victor didnt just get married. wouldnt victor be granted a visa after 2 years of marriage or smth? also why did danny even cross the canal with victor??? he literally only had to go to an embassy and get a new one and get on the ferry. THEY TALKED ABOUT IT EVEN IN THE EPISODE! out of all the storylines i find myself questioning theirs the most.
