The language with which both men talked about their families as possessions really stuck out to me. It's what led to one being unable to grieve his dead family and the other being unable to connect to his living family. The ending showed how viewing women as mere set dressing for men's lives ultimately leads to tragedy for not just the disposable women but for the men living in misery and loneliness.
I'll miss Elle :( One of my favourite characters! I'll forever be sad about how the writers made her devolve after her shooting.
"I wish there was some way for us to go back and undo the past. But there wasn't. There was nothing we could do."
wow I think that I will never watch this film again! Not because it's bad, it is an absolutely powerful film but very tough to watch! I always heard great things about Mysterious Skin but I wasn't expecting something so painful and dark, yet so good!
Such a deep, brutal and disturbing story with phenomenal acting, specially by Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
I am still processing it. Man, it's so sad and depressing! Great film.
really hoping to see more of isaacs self exploration.. i love his character and i feel like we don't get enough of him
I waited the whole episode for Aaron Paul to say "yeah science!"
what the fuck, It's Mr. Robot
God damn amazing movie. Not sure how it is in english or if you don't have the cultural context. But as an estonian it really is an amazing god damn movie. Well made, well acted, great story - just love it. Even after looking at the trailer the movie suprised and kept me on the edge of my seat. Maybe not best for very young children but otherwise even good as a family movie.
kendall: I was thinking of hitting up some bojack guys
me: what is this, a crossover episode?
