Finished watching 1x09 at 1:09. Well, I don't know what I expected from this episode, but I'm glad it's not over.
Much like Parasite, I'll surely be thinking about this show for a long time. Squid Game is easily one of the best made shows ever that really makes you think about the dichotomy between the rich and the poor, how fucked up capitalism really is and most of all, humanity.
HOLY FUCKING HELL, this shit is intense.
Every terrible thing they did coming to bite them in the ass, this is all so hella satisfying ahh. ALSO, WE'RE FINALLY IN THE JI2 ERA ALSKFK
THAT ENDING, did not see it coming aldkjksjdks
'Ava vu,' I died
Also, absolutely LOVE how they highlighted that audiobooks count as reading as well as the struggles that might come with reading
And here I thought the previous disasters were stressful hshsjsj
Boy, this show is coming in fast with no sign of stopping. INTO IT
This show is so much fun and easily matches the vibe of the comics. Also, Wong/Madisynn the unexpected duo, I love LOL
All I wanted throughout the episode was punch Min-woo in the face whenever he appeared. The audacity! :unamused:
The grandfather asking whether Kang Tae-moo and Cha Seong-hun are in a relationship and their responses aikslskd. Gotta love the queer positivity. Also, Shin Ha-ri as fake Jin Yeong-Seo is e v e r y t h i n g. I LOVE.
Um what the fuck is this episode fhfsa
OKAY, I SEE YOU, SHOW. This was such a solid first episode. All of the main cast's acting is great, the plot is paced well, the cinematography and color palette is so pleasing to the eye and the soundtrack stands out. Love the three sisters!
Also, maybe I'm reading too much into it but I really think Jin Hwa-young is still alive because of the whole face plastic surgery before dying thing. Like what was the point otherwise of stealing all that money?
Well, this was depressing as hell
Loved the talk show part, hated the drugged part
LOL Kramer stealing the show once again. However, George and the napping was fun to watch, too especially the redesign
The whole Susie thing cracked me up LOL. Also, Kramer breaking up with George on Alison's behalf jkjhg.
Kramer in jeans, I can't
The dedication to the low-flow plot LOL. The racist comments, though. Not a fan. :unamused:
Seriously, Seinfeld? A whole-ass episode centered around a woman wearing a top as a bra? Ughhhh
The whole glasses plot is hilarious, loved it
This is such a weirdly sad episode, I don't know how else to describe it.
The 'oh my God' actress! As always, so weird watching her in something besides Friends, heh.
That ending took me out, TBH aldkd
OMG, Mateo and Cheyenne are so much more hilarious working against each other. LOVE IT
FUCKING FINALLY AAHHHH! The satisfaction. (But godddd, Su-min is such a toxic best friend I got war flashbacks NGL)
Simply impeccable storytelling, hot damn!
In-joo's hands up, I-
The amount of plot twists have me fucking stressed like who even knows what's gonna happen in the next scene let alone the next episode. I just want one thing, though and that's for IN-JOO AND DO-IL TO END UP TOGETHER :pray: Their chemistry is too fucking good, I'm done for
AJDHSKS THE TWISTS
Also, yes to In-kyung dating Jong-ho, please. They're fucking adorable with their tough girl/soft boy dynamic
Kang Tae-Moo really be the child of Lee Young-joon and Kim Mi-so from What's Wrong With Secretary Kim, eeee
This show is killing me especially the found family of it all :sob:
LOL Todd, never stop with your business ideas. A pretty heartwarming ending to Bojack Horseman season, say what
