A well made mindfucker, really enjoyed it, I will return after a while to watch it again
The ending hit me out of nowhere, verily a masterpiece
It was a good time killer, good production, well casted, somewhat of a build up for the sequel
Well, time travel is always tricky, you can bend time and stretch it but it can never run backwards, that's why these movies are filled with stupid actions and paradoxes, one can only watch and enjoy them as cinema
It perfectly blend some of the best horror elements together like paranoia and anxiety, the plot was unpredictable which kept me hooked til the end, a good watch
A good action comic with well placed scenes (notably the x-rated scene with sindy) and balance of everything, quite enjoyable and it will leave you satisfied
It's not your typical horror film, it's an experience, you'll feel what the main character felt, yes it's slow and boring at times but the last 15 minutes worth it, Ti West did a good job with camera angles and soundtrack, very atmospheric
It's a good adaption of the original game, following the first hours of what happened inside the umbrella corp that caused the outbreak, all the aspects are perfect whether it's a soundtrack, atmosphere or choosing a new badass protagonist
A simple script with the concept that can be mind-boggling, wasn't expecting this kind of ending, twisted but understandable, perfect for watching in a thunderstorm night
It start out good with dark atmosphere and tension building then turned itself into a joke, and it was like a typical horror flick, not so sure about watching it again
Spoiler Alert: Protagonist was an evil person looking for success, he even ditch his partner as I recall, gives an evil smile in the end cause he's the only one who survived with the knowledge of eternal life and his most prized bride trusted him enough to kill her own father, makes him the most successful person on planet, the film is a phychological experience with some of the most beautiful shots I've ever seen, plot will definitely keep you on edge til the very end
To be honet, I was quite enjoying myself with the science fiction bits until the last act, the movie turned into a complete fantasy, building a wormhole technology in 21st century, the whole time-space travel and meeting with heavenly aliens, it's not only scientifically incorrect but a very unlikely scenario in the real world
I was entertained but confused, things don't makes sense even after watching it multiple times, I get it, the guy developed an alter ego as tyler to cope and made sense to his life, I know this, I've seen better movies with this kind of script, this one has a terrible ending and it is overrated
It's a new concept in zombie genre, thought provoking and thrilling, the antagonist was great, characters took realistic actions and faced their consequences, some questions unanswered maybe we can expect a sequel in future, it's underrated for sure
Plot was simple, it follows a storyline of an orgin game, some good changes were made as well as some bad changes too, it was horror at times with less clichés and gore but it definitely kept me entertained til the very end

This whole thing is a hybrid of Matrix and Resident Evil, that is dumb

The most satisfying ending of all time, with all stupid characters (you don't give a shit about except for rory) dead and calvin (our main protagonist) reached earth.
It was never meant to take it seriously even with the dark and twisted comedy.
There are no words to describe what I feel after watching it, our group didn't do it on purpose and was drugged, so what's the point? what a weird movie
You can't take survival horror genre and turned it into full action horror flick, plus it's a bad one with crappy writing, repeated jumpscares and plot holes like dead rising from their graves, what a joke
They've successfully ruined the theme this franchise is based on, but it can be your typical horror comedy and your kids will love watching this, 4 stars max in my opinion
It didn't felt like an insidious to me, filled with boring plot and stupid jumpscares, the dark realm is not scary at all, you can even see people from real world inside, It was mind blowing to see the connection in earlier movies, which they failed miserably in the red door installment.
