Honestly, I thought I was going to hate this movie, since I usually don't have the patience needed for French Movies. But damn, this was amazing! Totally worth it.

I need to rewatch it one day, maybe it isn't as bad as I remember and I am only giving it a 5 because I was forced to watch this thing 3 times in 6th grade.
But it's more likely that it indeed sucks.
this was... suprising. Neither good nor bad, clearly made with a low budget. The story was decent and the acting wasn't that bad, some artists really talented there, like the boy who played nate or the man who played the Dean.
My expectations were nearly 0, but it surprised me, in a good way.
A light and fun production, just like the Mamonas were.
The movie is short and portraits their success, in the same speed that it happened. Overall the fast pace of the movie wasn't a problem, but it was annoying at some points.
The only point that I really didn't like was the romance, that was so quick and futile that it was ridiculous.
I would say it's a solid 6,5/10. Good entertainment, when you need a goofy thing to watch, but not great.
My hopes were so, but so low for this film, that it was a huge surprise to watch it and see a really great movie, the acting was extraordinary. The only part that actually made me giggle a bit because was so bad, was the CGI in some scenes.
One of my favourite childhood movies, I remember clearly how much it made me laugh and the pure joy this movie brought me in the many times I watched it on repeat.
The storyline is great, the animation is perfect, I just adore it.
Well, it's not good, but it could be worse I guess.
