Grown up concerns threaten to come between a friendship between two boys in this quiet, emotionally affecting film. Terrific performances all round.
What's with the disclaimer at the start? They haven't had that before now.
Jay grabbing the shotgun and ducking under it to elbow the guy in the face was some good choreography. They give Jay all the cool stunts.
When they're interrogating the guy who was chopping up the body, Olinsky knocks and asks "Hank, got a minute?" Then the scene cuts to a completely different location. "Got a minute" would be like need to ask you a question outside. Not traveling to a completely different place, lol.
The stuff with the terminal kid was touching, but a tad overdone. Especially when he said how he wants to be a cop when he grows up. Terminal kids are usually aware that they're not going to make it.
Everytime i watch this movie, i feel like i can die happy.
The first two seasons are excellent and then it just gets progressively worse. Season 5 is dreadful and it's no wonder the actors left in droves. The fault is with the script, not the acting.
I.F.T. - after watching the episode, I now know what this means. LOL.
I had known that they weren't going to have this baby (because I've seen future episodes where they clearly did not have children), but I didn't expect it to go down quite like this.
Christopher Herrmann, you amazing bastard!
Sometimes the best gift is the gift of never seeing you again
That cracked the hell out of me LOL XDD
I hope this Brett obsessing over a baby storyline is done with. It's dull.
Also, Brett was in a hostage situation last season. That call was clearly suspicious. Is she really that dumb to just walk on in there?
This Jimmy kid is totally going to die, isn't he? There are red flags all over it.
It's supposed to only be the next day, but Casey and Severide clearly have different hair styles and lengths, lol.
Cruz is wrong: Chicago deep dish pizza is gross and an abomination.
What kind of self-absorbed idiot do you have to be to move in next to a bar, then go to the bar and complain it's too loud?
I thought this movie was a weird fever dream I had but nope, turns out it's real
I am redundant I know... but... can please someone kill this bunnie-bitch who is bringing gemma teller-vibes to me?
Jay's beard changed like a hundred times this episode.
Roman <3
How could they do that to Jay? T_T
"This wouldn't have happened if you'd been here." But how? She would've been sitting alongside you outside, just as ineffective as you all were.
Lindsay looked very pointedly towards the unit before she got into the SUV. Way to give up where your backup is, lol.
Our legacy is who we are lucky to have in our lives, and what we can leave them with.
I'm a parent so I had an emotional connection since the trailer dropped... The bad reviews are from children expecting a flick with "splosions" and "boobies" lol
Are you freaking kidding me? How can I wait until fall with this season finale?!
It made for a nice cheesy moment, but the Spartacus strategy wouldn't actually work in real life. The guy Cruz assaulted would easily be able to identify him. And I doubt he would just drop it without continuing to want to press charges. (Although I'm sure the show is going to move on without any problems.)
What a ending. Matt is getting set up by this Jack Nesbit guy. You can bet my words on it. Great season again.
It's going to be a nightmare until it comes back, WHAT AN EPIC AND AMAZING END
The episode in which everyone decides to act like petulant children. Definitely not annoying to watch. Waah, don't sit at the squad table. The basketball scene was basically playground antics. Bad episode.
The first time I saw this episode was on TV, and I hadn't watched earlier seasons yet. I was confused as to why Casey and Voight were so cold to one another. Didn't think one of the main characters of Fire and one of the main characters of P.D. would be so at odds. Now, it makes a little bit of sense. Although Casey agreeing to work with Voight seems a bit of a stretch.
This soap opera crap about Rice has been ruining enough episodes now. Just get it over with.
Barba is always the best.
Didn't Mills leave just one episode ago? He had time to move, finish the renovations, open the restaurant, and then send a crate of pies, all in the span of time between two episodes??
Seeing the SVU crossover from this side feels strange. But Benson feels more natural in this show than the Chicago characters did on SVU. Maybe that's just because I've watched more SVU though, I don't know.
I wonder why the episode title is "We Called Her Jellybean"? The line where Chili said it was "we call her," not past tense, and she's also not dead.
1st part Chicago fire, 2nd part Chicago PD (S2 E20), 3rd part law & order : SVU (S16 E20).
Bye Peter! :wave_tone1: You were a great character, and you were the only one who could do all three jobs.
This is the Chicago Med backdoor pilot episode.
Dick Wolf is really good at crossing over shows.
At first I was like oh hey Dune that's a good book. But then I was completely blown away by Brett's terrible opinions about the series. She thinks Children of Dune is the best?! Are you fucking insane? It's one of the worst! Granted, I haven't read Chapterhouse yet, but Children is easily the second worst so far, only topped by Heretics.
Also, I think they may have made a mistake when writing those lines. She mentions original Dune, Children of Dune, but then Heretics of Dune. Children is book 3, Heretics is book 5. I think they meant to say Messiah, which is book 2. It doesn't really make sense to only mention books 1, 3, and 5. But as it's written, her opinion is even worse, because Heretics is by far the worst one I've read. And I only just read it last month, so I'd know.
