Please don't suck, please don't suck, please don't suck...
As a big Tolkien and Lotr fan i absolutely hate how im not even excited about this.....
I know i shouldn't compare it to Sherlock but gorram i can't fucking help it. It pales in comparison, and that's a bad thing because i can't concentrate on what's happening. Elementary seems like a retarded parasitical twin that should've been killed at birth but was nurtured by the deranged aunt. Everything about it is... average. There's no spark from Liu and Miller. It's just not there. You can't argue "Oh why can't we do an interpretation of Sherlock Holmes?" or something along those lines, when the fact is, the writing is what makes it. No one will ever match the quality of Sherlock without kidnapping Moffat et al and forcing them to write scripts in the dead of the night.
People who haven't seen Sherlock (most Americans surely) will probably like this show, but for those who have seen Sherlock and are eagerly anticipating the 3rd season, this show will bore you to dead. No, seriously. I'd rather watch Revolution (actually fuck no, i take that back).
Oh and before anyone makes a comment about the books, i've read them. Before watching Sherlock and before the 1st Sherlock Holmes movie with RDJ.
Watch Sherlock.
A Cop Drama With Nathan Fillion, I started it watching it because of him and honestly its a pretty enjoyable show with an array of characters. Not your usual cop drama, there is the right amount of humor and I'm liking it and I want to see where this goes. Lethal Weapon is based on the comedy and has some dramatic elements. Chicago P.D. is a serious drama and you get invested in every moment, this one comes right inbetween.
I just love how Nathan Fillion plays his character, just brings me back to the Firefly days.
Another one of those shows that starts off pretty meh then finds it's footing and takes a significant turn for the better.
Gave up half way through season 1, gave it another chance, and now I can't wait for each new episode!
A show I have loved from beginning to end.
Seeing reviews of this from places such as "The Guardian", then actually watching the show, made me realize there are a lot of people out there that just want to sh*t on other peoples work for no reason. This isn't Jeremy goofing around for 8 episodes, this is him actually working hard and trying his best. Yes, while he does goof around a bit, I feel like that's just part of who he is and his presenting style. This is definitely worth the watch, and maybe even a re-watch in the future.

Just watch "Ancient Aliens Debunked" on YouTube and you'll realize that your subconscious has been right all along: the guy's hair is ridiculous and these "experts" are a bunch of liars.
I love love love love loveeeeeee this show. So sad it's off the air now. Was really entertaining and the acting was top notch. Hilarious at times too with Neal & Mozzie interactions/dialogues.
The character of Reacher has the personality of a mannequin. An autistic mannequin. A muscular autistic mannequin.
He walks around, occasionally fights, and spouts Sherlock Holmes like insights. The show doesn't have any real plot or pont to it.
I actually closed my eyes during the prison fight scene so I wouldn't have to see the violence. It"s not like Banshee, where the fighting was for integral plot reasons. This is just to show fighting.
I don't hate the show, but also didn't like anything about it.
I heard about this series a long time ago, but I never wanted to watch it, since I was very sceptical about it. As an old school Sherlock Holmes fan, who watched all Basil Rathbone movies, the whole Jeremy Brett Series and more, I never wanted to 'destroy' my view about Holmes by making him a new 21st century character.
I started episode one with a friend, and I immediately knew I was wrong.
Yes, this is definitely a different Holmes than it was usually portraited as, but Benedict Cumberbatch nails it. Specially in "The abdominble bride", where he is an traditional Holmes, showed me that Cumberbatch was a perfect choice. He even sounds and looks like Jeremy Brett in this episode.
All in all, so far it was one of the greatest series I have watched.
Did it really end?
I’d like to know because it’s the BEST show I’ve ever seen. It would be a pity if there won’t be any more episodes T^T.
I never even liked Sherlock Holmes or crime-solving shows like these, but this Sherlock truly won me over. Brilliant show!
Cumberbatch > Downey Jr.
Amazing show. I was wondering what the fuss is all about until I started watching it, then I just couldn't stop.
One of the best shows out there. I have never seen such a masterpiece in all my years of watching TV shows.
This was a monster good show. Art, crime, charme, wine and love. There is no better combination.
Pretty much just another crime drama show, although it trends on the quirky side, similar to Rizzoli & Isles and Bones. The one thing about this show that keeps me watching though is Captain Hammer. Nathan Fillion could have a show about tying shoelaces and I would probably still watch.
I have to admit although I've loved this show since episode one I sort of feel they've lost the spark along the way ... I guess they made the right choice when they decided to end it with season 12, it might be time! Anyway I'm gonna miss my weekly dose of Booth and Brennan and the rest of the squints :)
Just finished the last season. One word to describe this serie? WOW.
If you like drama and crime, you should watch this show!
Maybe it's time to leave gracefully, this has gone on too long, out of ideas.
Riviting. Would love to see more.
I Love this show, it's about the Agents of SHIELD not superheros.. I don't know how the average person judges acting. But I totally got into the story line and how it tied into the movies. I suppose thats why season two is starting earlier..
