I swear I was just talking to my family today about Memento and they had never head of it. Never have I related to Jake more.
"Also, Jake, Following is Christopher Nolan's first movie. You sound like a grade A [BLEEP]-hole out here" is just such a stellar joke in every way. The phrasing (tacking the "out here" at the end might be what really makes it fly); the surprise of Pimento momentarily sidestepping his ever-present weirdness to correct Jake; Mantzoukas' straight-faced delivery; the cut to Samberg's perfectly poleaxed reaction. I can't recall the last time I laughed this hard at a pop-culture reference joke.
My thought when Frannie got locked in the basement was why is she to worried about it when she is in a room with dynamite, so it's not like she should have any problems with getting out!
Why did Frannie run past all of those people before saying "bomb"? It is nice to see the story progressing at a steady pace though.
Looks like Melissa Fumero is pregnant again and they don't want to hide it this time.
I bet Hitchcock's current cologne is named "Corona".
So glad to have all these nutcases back for a whole new season!
Waiting for the judge to decide was so fucking hard I literally had to distract myself, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to breathe. Out of everyone, Celeste's character affected me the most. Perhaps Nicole's powerful and realistic performance is why. And by perhaps I mean DUH.
Celeste's argument made me feel like I can do anything in the world. She managed to destroy Mary Louise and her son at the same time... ugh her mind
Such an amazing episode. Brilliant acting by Nicole Kidman and Laura Dern. The storyline kept me on the edge of my seat.
Nicole Kidman stole the show in those court scenes, 10/10 acting.
can't wait to see Celeste tearing Mary Louise down next week
So freakin' awesome! I love Pen Ward
If Meryl Streep was not playing Mary Louise I would be fuming with rage right now! but Meryl Streep is so great I kind of stand her just for her performance!
This is just the best TV serie that I have seen the last years.
I really felt that slap on Mary Louise . She deserves that and more tbh
I've lost most of my excitement for this show, but I'm still gonna try to stay with it. Harold gets on my nerves with his blatant creepiness. I really liked Dayna and the bravery she showed by doing what needed to be done. Although, I'm so angry because I love Natalie Martinez.
Tom is doing a good job as infiltrator, however the women was rubbish. Why did you try so hard to meet Flagg. Did she really think she'd get a chance to kill him. Very stupid.
It started out as a descent end of the world movie
now WHY THE F*CK would you want to do a 180 and replace base of the show with religious BS
WHY THE F*CK would you do that
W H Y T H E F * C K
No, no, no, no... the scattered timeline in this version makes it hard to connect to the characters. You Don’t really care about them. It lacks the dramatic build-up of the 90:s version.
at this point I'm just glad we still have family guy in 2020. keep em coming. hot garbage
Finally! This was classic Family Guy humor. Only took 4 episodes
Spot-on Netflix spoof right here (and other cancerous programming ;))!
Backstory episode was excellent. Looking forward to episode 2 and onwards.
This show got a thing in it, it is a unique comedy, crime, hardcore sometimes show XD
That is how you fucking write women friendships.
I found the season to be quite predictable - I made the connection super early on with Perry and Jane and then figured it had to be one or both of the twins that hurt Amabella too. I did not predict, however, that it would be Bonnie that ended it all in this episode.
Despite the predictability, an outstanding season that kept me hooked. I love a good show that highlights the reality of how f*cked up everyone is behind closed doors. The acting and the cinematography was truly wonderful to watch. Can't wait to binge-watch the next season.
