It may not meet all the technical requirements of the movie critic but I haven’t been this emotional during a movie for a while. Well made, amazing story.

Somebody asked if they can watch this without watching Bosch…you probably could but why would you want to? Every season of Bosch is beautifully shot and full of class! Just take your time and start at the beginning!
Didn’t see any press for this but it was honestly a lot of fun. You can tell it’s a novel adapted that maybe needed more time but for a three hour limited series it was enjoyable. 7/10 for the scenery alone!
Disappointing change of character focus. Dropping the whole first season murder storyline was clumsy and unfortunate. Had a lot of potential.
Benedict is amazing as usual, especially in the second half. His range of emotion is excellent.
However, his acting chops couldn’t completely deliver this movie, the whole first act was rushed and it definitely could have had a longer run time. I would have preferred this to be a slow burn but it seems that this was catered for the market and not the fanatic.
