This season is a bit bizarre as I think that it is weaker overall than the sum of its parts. I think season 2 has some good episodes and even 1 or 2 great episodes, but I didn't enjoy it as much as season 1. The main plot drags on much too long, but some character arcs move too quickly. However, it really suffers from the frustrating writing trope of characters actively refusing to tell each other integral information which hinders their relationships and doesn't explain their motivations. I still think season 2 is fun and has some great episodes in a vacuum, but is overall weaker than season 1.
Only 2 episodes in so far, but I genuinely cannot stand the adult parts of this show. I really wish they focused only on the past story because the adult section is incredibly uninteresting, boring, and inadvertently reveals a lot of what happens in the past (which is ruining the much more interesting story).
The episodes individually were actually fantastic, but the season as a whole just didn't feel right.
