This show needs more NoHo Hank !!
That random jon hamm appearance tho
i'm on episode 4 and still don't really know how i feel about this show:
The idea is great: a woman tries to improve her health by the conventional and not conventional methods; but the thing is she's not really trying at all, she basically gives up every day, so we don't see struggle or improvement, only complaints
Also, i'm not finding the characters relatable (maybe it's fault) and Liv is especially unlikable (she's rude, harsh and way too childish to the people who love her and that many times go out of their way to help her)
i'll watch the first season to the end, maybe i'll be pleasantly surprised but so far, it's not that impressive.
They just rebuilt the store, how did they find a corpse in the wall?!
Ninja episode. The makeups were absolutely awesome and the stabbing scene...i did not see that coming. Good job to the writters doing so much with so little
Very silly but quite fun. I really dislike the episodes that show a convenient Earth-like civilisation, but this one did it quite well.
Wow, that was an emotionally violent breakup. In a subtle way. Hard to watch because I like them both! Amy was brains and beauty, Jonah is philosophical and follows his heart.
Who thought that a comedy show can still be this funny in its ninth season. Dwight on the slack line cracked me up big time.
Creed is honestly one of the funniest and most savage people on this show :joy:
i do understand Michael's grief and think is okay to take time griefing...
"You know, a human can go several hours living after being decapitated." ... "i think you're thinking of a chicken" .... "What did i say?"
And... it feels like somebody took my heart and dropped it into a bucket of boiling tears.
And, at the same time, somebody else is hitting my soul in the crotch with a frozen sledgehammer.
And then a third guy walks in and starts punching me in the grief bone. And I am crying. And nobody can hear me,
because I am terribly,
terribly...
terribly alone.
Very dated from a production point of view, and the script is absolutely terrible. BUT, the story itself is exciting and it certainly did some ambitious stuff not seen on the show before.
One of the best episodes, solely because it's another subtle look into Michael. He doesn't really grieves Ed Truck, but he is afraid that he will die alone, without anyone ever remembering him.
Fantastic. The mystery for the first half, visiting Vulcan, the ridiculous ceremony and battle with THAT music. Welcome, Mr. Chekov. These characters have really come to life by this point, and Spock's reaction to finding out Kirk was alive was gold.
[9.5/10] Such a classic. An absolute masterpiece of cringe comedy that not only plays out the barely-restrained resentments between Michael and Jan, but adds so much weird detail to their lives together, until you get the most awkward party of all time. Everyone in the cast is on fire here, and it's reassuring that after the writer's strike, everyone put their heads together and came up with this bit of brilliance.
literally every single joke in this episode KILLS me, down to the small stuff like jan sniffing her candles every time she's annoyed with michael
"I did not see that coming, but I should have."
Just watching Spock's brain...Kirk says "Is he dead " Bones comes back with "He's worse than dead" what a line lol
"Best case scenario, candy. Worst case scenario, Trainspotting."
LMAO
Let me hijack my own comment to update it after all is said and done.
This has been one fantastic show that I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone that can "stomach" an american sitcom. Over those 6 seasons you will learn to love the characters on this show and miss them dearly when it's all over! But fear not, it has a bitter-sweet end and the show is not ripped out of existence like many other shows. 9/10, would shop there again!
Oh god, seems the show won the renewal bingo....
"NBC has renewed @AmericaFerrera's #Superstore for Season 2" :D
Amy was so selfish for kissing Jonah, who has a gf, while she’s pregnant with her exhusband’s baby and also has a bf... and Jonah is trash for kissing Amy back while he’s with Kelly and using Kelly just while he waits for Amy, they are both pieces of something and deserve each other!!! And Kelly deserves so much better!! But I wonder if this means Kelly is leaving, I hope not cause she is a nice addition to the crew!!
Edit: watching this a year later, and Amy is genuinely the worst character in a sitcom ever! She’s bad vibes!!! And I say “in a sitcom” cause sitcoms are supposed to be funny and enjoyable and she isn’t funny or enjoyable, she’s miserable!
Am I the only one who is sorry for Kelly? I mean, I like Amy, but Jonah really hurt Kelly. :/ She is so nice and she doesn't deserve this.
why are the listings for Great British Bake Off so jumbled?
You seriously couldn't script this shit.
Notice whenever someone refers to Oklahoma it's always "Bumfuck Oklahoma".
The Polar Express joke was hilarious. That movie is a goddamn nightmare.
Need a bottle episode where Ava somehow gets locked in a classroom with Janine's mom.
