It's perfectly fine for children to watch, so maybe just put it on and find out. The only way it's not suitable for children is if you have a middle-aged man shouting at the screen behind them.

Sir Patrick Stewart is poop. There are multiple jokes about this. (Insert poop emoji) Overall the movie is meh. :| Haha get it ;) (That was funnier than most of the movie)
