Nicole Beharie and Holland Taylor were amazing during the interview.
Charlie going to slay a demon dressed as a vampire hunter with a $600 fake knife (because he didn't want to scratch his replica of Aragorn's sword form Lord of the Rings) is the most on brand thing I've ever seen.
The Pleasantville parody was amazing. No notes!
Yeah! We love you, Allan!
I would have been fine with either of the final 2 taking the crown… but I’m so glad Nymphia won! She killed that final lip sync!:banana::banana:
Love the bait and switch at the end.
Wow I did not expect this to instantly become one of my favorite seasons in the whole franchise. It had a wonderful group of queens, the vibes were immaculate, and the challenges were really good. I think the short episode format is excellent for these All Stars seasons because it kept it from feeling repetitive.
Adams is speed running becoming one of the worst characters to be on the show.
I don't quite know what Jimbo did during the talent show, but I would pay good money to see it every day.
An absolutely idiotic brain dead move.
Wait did Seonyul and the photographer switch identities at the orphanage?? Are they working together?? Is that how he knew the exact type of film?
Damn I'm not even mad that Keiran blew up Will's game. I don't blame him at all and it was 100% deserved given how he threw all three of his teammates under the bus.. I'm glad the Faithfuls won!
I was onboard with them getting away with it in the end, but I can’t root against Lauren Lapkus.
I picked this up on a whim and was pleasantly surprised! It was fun and fluffy and had some great characters. It was made for weekend afternoon bingeing.
A decent effort, but they lost the spirit of the original imo. Zuko and Iroh definitely came out the best of the characters.
F.A.D.E was actually probably more effective than D.A.R.E ever was :joy:
I remember my mom being a fan of the Von Erichs so I was always vaguely aware of their story, but I didn't realize how deep it went (I had no idea that Kevin was the second oldest or that Kerry lost his foot). Great performances from the cast and the direction is wonderful. You can almost feel the specter of death hanging over them in the film. I do wish they hadn't cut out Chris because I always felt like it was the tipping point for Kerry (because of the similarities of their deaths).
Thank you to Jason Statham for keeping these campy/silly fun action movies alive. These are the movies you're meant to sit and enjoy after a long day or on a weekend. Low stakes, but big fun.
This is an absolute masterpiece of a television episode.
I was rooting for the faithful, but man Quentin and Andie were too oblivious because as soon as Cirie said she couldn't split the money with someone who didn't earn it it should have been a red flag since the final four are all people who contributed heavily to the challenges. Respect to Arie for being a gracious loser cause I would have had a fit.
This Fiona storyline would be good if this weren’t the fifth or sixth time she pulled the same stuff over some guy turning out to be an asshole.
Frank casually pruning Debbie’s toes is one of the most hilariously gruesome scenes in recent memory.
Oh, Frank… your mother’s passed. :joy:
This was definitely the strongest season overall.
Every single Scooby Doo gag was done perfectly. An excellent Halloween episode!
Pay it Forward might be one of my favorite pieces of sketch comedy ever. He just wanted to do something good before alcohol class!
That rescue sequence was a thing of beauty. The absolute joy I felt through the final ten minutes may never be topped.
It definitely doesn't deserve the bad wrap it got. In fact, I almost wish this had been a stand alone entry instead of tied into the larger storyline. It is a slow burn, but there are good elements to the story. It reminded me more of an epic fantasy like Clash of the Titans. (It's also a really great take on the Justice League.)
Very solid take on the "ghost solves their own murder" trope. Highly recommended!
Simply incredible. I went into it not expecting it to live up to the hype, but it more than exceeded it. It was somehow the perfect amount of episodes, yet leaves me desperately wanting more.
