after 1st season I was cautiously optimistic and a bit bored but boyyyyy, 2nd season is a-ma-zing! the acting is spectacular (Maron, Brie, Gilpin, oh god), the characters are slowly but surely developed, wrestling is honestly entertaining, can't wait for season 3! (if it doesn't get renewed I WILL RIOT)
I am a pacifist but if I ever meet the person who cancelled this gem, they're gonna get a solid kick in the teeth
I loved it. Hope I see this amazing cast in other, even bigger projects (especially Betty Gilpin who in the third season was absolutely amazing).
Nicole Richie CRUSHED it! Nice series but can clearly can see why it got cancelled.
are we fucking kidding here
one of the best shows on netflix, absolutely fascinating subject and I know that it's all about the cash but come on... the amount of shit Netflix throws their money on hoping it sticks and we can't get a decent show running for more than 2 seasons? (I'll die bitter about GLOW who miraculously got 3 seasons before it got yeeted off)
the corgis were SEVERELY underrepresented this season, we demand more!!!
The corgis are once again underrepresented and I'm sharpening my pitchfork
and after this season I'm absolutely sure that the queen is just keeping it together until she outlives Charles so he doesn't get to be king lol
the corgis have been adequately represented this season, although my campaigning for having an episode following a royal corgi will never stop!!!
Betty Gilpin is playing even better this season and I legit didn't expect that. Absolute scene stealer in my opinion.
a.k.a the cursed season who shall be forgotten although it gave me some amazing reaction gifs to confuse the straights (i will always love you thorgy)
this season was a choice.
I think I'm one of the very few people who didn't really care about season 1 but absolutely loved season 2
I definitely didn't expect the shift in the tone, more depressing and sad with Alyssa being in the center (loved, loved, loved Jessica Barden! so good at both delivering sharp digs with a stone cold face and at being the saddest girl on TV lol) but oh how I cherished it! They're all sad and desperate to get better (each one in their own way) and my heart kept breaking for all of them (JUSTICE FOR TODD).
also, if the final episode makes me cry silently into my phone on the train, I must consider it a pretty good ending lol
the intro song S L A P S
I am serving you an ADEQUATE dress, made of MATERIAL, that is ON MY BODY. Vintage? NO. Elegance? NO. Still stuck on me? JUST ABOUT. The judges seem VAGUELY AMUSED by what is happening before them, and I am okay with that.
"it was my question dumb bitch" all I can say is thank lord for Alexis
first time in drag race herstory where a contestant was cancelled before her first episode was even out lol
AND WE LOVE TO SEE IT, fuck Sherry Pie
Ongina's wig during the performance... to quote Bob, mama, this is garbage
Widow DESTROYED this episode and i L O V E it
LOOK OVER THERE
lmao, stan Jaida
WHY HAVE YOU BLINDED THE PRESIDENT, GARY
it's been a week since the episode aired and still all I hear in my fucking head is BING BANG BONG
i can feel my braincells dying one by one
LISTEN
FIRST: JAN SHOULD HAVE WON. She executed her choreo and singing part like a total boss and her runway wasn't a fucking bikini.
SECOND: NOT PUTTING JAIDA IN THE TOP IS A CRIME. She looked the part, she performed the part, she was amazing. CHILE, JUST LOOK AT HER
girl, what a rigga morris
also, watching AOC on Drag Race was absolutely heartwarming
my dudes, i'm not gonna lie, it felt like 50 minutes of free therapy (well, almost free)
loved it. (also, why is the date on trakt set on december 7, did I have a whole ass trip and imagined the first part?)
Very good movie. Not quite innovative but the atmosphere is great and the actors are solid too. Jeff Bridges is a bright star for sure but I just loved Ben Foster and his sick character (not exaggerated though) and I think that people responsible for smaller part casting did an awesome job. The young waitress character or the old man in the bank are small gems in my opinion.
And the music! Damn, so great and played a huge part in building and reducing the tension throughout the movie. Solid piece of cinema, definitely recommended.
everyone and anyone oversharing with the PM was c o m e d y
oh come on, not fucking Adriana... what is infuriatingly heartbreaking is that she was addicted to that psycho and had a horribly skewed vision of him. For her to think that she could actually convince him to flip....her naivety and hope she displayed throughout the series culminated in an episode that is ultimately heartbreaking.
okay but if they fuck up Yolanda and Archie I'll cry till I die
the chemistry between Debicki and Salim Daw is impeccable
but honestly, how shitty was this cop
Danielle Brooks is such an incredible actress, just... wow
this show keeps breaking my heart in ways I didn't know were possible
ugh Gregg is such a cockroach
