I feel like I’ve just been yelled at for 2 hours by Adam McKay. Yeah, it's on the nose and way too obvious, but still decently funny.

Quote: "Such a disappointment. I was actually considering leaving the movie theater."
Agree...
I give it a 6 but I'm tempted to lower it to a 3 if I took in account that this is the a Superman story. The old Superman movies are totally unlike this one. Yes it's a darker Superman movie. So this movie will be a disappointment watching it with that expectation in your mind.
But then again... Why do I grade this watch once (longing for the credits to appear) a 6?
It made me realize that people like to watch movies about devastating destruction and annihilation of total civilisation instead of the A-team like screenplay where not even the bad guys got hurt. There was always a camera shot to make sure that every kid saw that the bad guy thrown of a building by B.A. Baracus softly landed in a garbage bin.
Dirty, dizzy BUT ALIVE !!!
Yep, humans are fasinated by their own descruction.
So back to the movie:
Take a know story. Introduce some special effects and a lot of violence. Make money and stain the superman idol for every kid in the future !!!
Like Obama for saying "YES you can" this film maker should be prosecuted. So I guess I should give it a 3, but the special effects were good.
My advice don't watch it. For obvious reasons.
Very Generic psychological/supernatural thriller with non-sensical poorly written scenario. What motivates the supposed bad guys to do what they do? You guess is as good as mine. Waste of time, and it's a wonder why it got 91% on RT, other than above average wokeness level (metoo)
One of the best from Michael Bay. Since it's not all about explosions and is a pretty good movies about clones.
I don't think I'm taking it too far by stating that this does for Vampires what "This Is Spinal Tap" did for Heavy Metal bands. It's tough for vampires that are hundreds of years old to live with the drudgery and law enforcement of current times, but somehow this quintet of blood suckers manages. Whether it be by personal slave or a software analyst named Stu, the vampire flatmates keep themselves alive even though they are helpless at nightclubs and on the Internet.
This is a very clever movie, shot documentary-style. There is some gushing blood that is used as a humorous gag a couple of times, but for a movie about vampires, it's surprisingly tame.
This is the movie in which I use as the "Bar" to rate horrible movies. F-
I really enjoyed this, it had a unique premise that was predicable but not completely ridiculous.
Beautiful piece of art and the perfect example, why we need a Studio Ghibli in our world. The creators did an impressive job in painting the circle of life in a sometimes encouraging, sometimes oppressing, but always powerful and lively scenery, that doesn’t use any dialogs to tell its story! Magnificent
Simple, lyrical story, that is a welcome antidote to all the other noisy animated flicks that fill our screens. Another remarkable achievement from Studio Ghibli.
Very good movie - much better than expected. Plenty of action and enough twists to keep you interested.
The ending is somewhat predictable - what Hollywood movie isn't?
