Watch history prior to 2023 is not conclusive, but I'm working on it!

The show is just oozing with his style, never holding back on the visual front. The OST, while not strikingly great on its own, blends perfectly into the show and is used to its absolute potential. The symbolism contained within is some of the best I've seen in this medium - all of it is extremely well handled, and there's so much of it that you won't realize it until the plot hammers it home like a nail through glass.
Ikuhara’s expert use of symbolism weaves an intriguing web of allegories about stigma, exclusion, intolerance, convenience, and pride while constantly tugging at the underlying mysteries, revealing many nuances about the characters in a way that leaves them well fleshed-out and experiencing substantial growth throughout the show’s run. If you’re at all a fan of Ikuhara’s other works or yuri stories in general then I implore you to give it a go.
