This is funnier than the first time I watched it. I guess because now I can appreciate how many hilarious comedians are in this movie. Plus, it helps me appreciate This is 40.
This movie is on my top 10 list of favorite movies of all time! I can watch it over and over, and I do, and still love every line.
I have always loved this movie!!!
Melissa was fun as always. She is just a funny lady. It was a good movie but she has been better.
This movie always makes me cry...but I love it! It is quite a love story.
Very sad life. She was a killer but lived through extraordinary abuse and neglect.
Brilliant performances from both actors! It was a fantastic story as well...full of drama and character development. All I can say is bravo!
They just need to add a laughing emoji because I can only describe this as funny as hell! I literally laughed out loud the entire time! #BillBurr
I laughed so hard! It was so stupid and silly that it just made me laugh. It was entertaining.
I had assigned this book to my middle school students many years ago and now I watched the movie with my 9 and 11 year old kids. All of us were engrossed in the story and my children asked so many questions which is always good. I really liked it. It was touching and heart-wrenching at the same time.
It was incredibly sad and horrific. The images of dead babies thrown in the streets will never leave my mind. The toll this took on these families was immense but I was incredibly angry at them at the same time because they were willing to kill a girl just to have a boy.
This movie had a very interesting point of view. I agree it was right to show Bonnie and Clyde as criminals and not heroes. I would have liked to see a bit more of Bonnie and Clyde though, their crimes, to show them in order to demonstrate why these men were called in.
This movie was fantastic in exposing the hard life Tonya Harding endured. I was worried it would be more of a satire making fun of Tonya, but it made dun of the situation and the ironic hypocrisy in figure skating. I never liked Nancy Kerrigan and always felt Tonya got a raw deal.
I loved it...A great romantic comedy!
I am not comic book reader nor do I watch every Batman movie, but I went to see this movie because it seemed completely different than the typical franchise movies. I was mesmerized by Joaquin Phoenix from start to end. I ached for him and empathized even when he began killing. Joaquin Phoenix was absolutely brilliant.
I really enjoyed this movie. Christian Bale was phenomenal. The script had few words for him, but he spoke volumes without saying a word. It truly shows the effects of war on a man's soul and the carnage that affects innocent victims on both sides.
Cute Romantic comedy with a predictable plot.
I was a bit disappointed by the ending. Many times, writers and/or directors think it is just so innovative to end with a cliffhanger but too many people do it so it is just tedious. I knew something was off when they didn't show the actual fight between the girls.
I LOVE Adam Sandler but I didn't like this movie. I was anxious the whole movie and for what? The ending was not a huge shock that left me walking out of the theater stunned but excited...no, the opposite, I just walked out stunned and let down. My husband really liked it but I think the plot was nonexistent...there was no arc in the storyline. It just went nowhere.
I have always enjoyed his music but haven't really appreciated the depth of his songs until I watched this movie. It made me understand him as a person and appreciate him as a musician. I loved it!
WTH?! Here I am pulling for the guy and he has all those people sent to their deaths?! I was convinced he was stealing from them but so sure he was using his connections to help the escape. He is no Schindler.
It was cute. I like that Ali Wong didn't play the same character she usually plays.
The ratings are low but I really enjoyed this movie. I related to the women and I laughed so much!
I always loved it as a child and my kids loved it as well. I was surprised it held their interest.
It was a heartwarming and heartbreaking film at the same time. The adversity those children endured was tremendous but through it all, love was still present. I cried so much, but I really loved it.
I can't believe this a true story. It is so bizarre, but I like Amy Adams. She was great.
I loved Mister Rogers as a kid and even now as an adult. Growing up I never knew why I watched the show. There wasn't anything super exciting or funny, but I still watched. Seeing this documentary made me realize that I was attracted to him because his kindness, sincerity, and caring came through the television and I felt all of it. He just made me feel good period.
I thought this movie was heart-wrenching and raw. I didn't like the end personally because it is not what I wanted for the characters, but I can see why they ended it that way. It was real. I felt the pain he was feeling.
I loved this movie. It made me cry and really touched me. Some might say it was sappy, but that is what makes it good for me. I love a good tear jerker.
So sad! I so wanted them to be together! :pensive:
