Ooh. An episode centered around my favorite duo: Roy Mustang and Risa Hawkeye. It was interesting seeing them as naive idealists becoming weapons of mass murder becoming people who are just trying so hard to keep their humanity and fulfill their dreams in spite of all the crimes they have committed.
One of the most unhinged and insane season finales I have ever seen attempted in a KIDS SHOW????
Genuinely great, characters get their moments to shine, the plot goes into high gear, and the twists at the end of this episode setting up the final season are genuinely shocking.
A promising start. Like @deanzel I thought it started off pretty generic but it certainly ramped up and got interesting and a lot better. I also appreciated it being a double-length episode to take the time to establish things. Of the characters introduced thus far, they all seemed pretty likable. Having just seen Erased last season, it's interesting to see another series handling time travel again so soon, and no doubt it will draw comparisons to that series. And like Erased, it has the potential to handle the premise and mechanics well, or badly. Shame there's a fair amount of dodgy CG to be seen but hopefully the quality of the story will be enough to excuse that.
Still, a good first episode. Here's hoping it stays good. White Fox as a studio do have the potential to do very well when they're on point.
This series gave me such a sense of comfort and contentment. Especially during this quarantine, and I cannot experience campus life myself.
I am vaguely reminded of the line, "one must imagine Sisyphus happy." Anyway, I have no words for this episode, although it really resonated with me.
Now I see why this anime is rated as the best of all time. The story is just mind-boggling.

the game was so dramatic and i love it
That sure fizzled out at the end. Dramatic and exciting in parts, but I'm not sure that any of it made a bit of sense. Remember when these guys used to solve crimes?
Well .... I .. uh don't know how to say it but this was intense
I'm liking this feeling that this show gives off's. Ease and casualness of watching it. With the emphasize of adorable characters that we see on the screen.
Well, that's left me hooked and wanting more. What a great show.
By the episode's end, CookieGod and I burst into laughter because of how much it emotionally and intellectually moved us.
You had to be there.

"Faces fading in the flames. It was all her fault." Swain's quote in game for Jinx, all makes sense now
This show based on bloody league of legends has absolutely no right to be as good as it is, but hoooooly crap did the writers really pull their weight on this show.

A solid start!
The entire set-up for how little others think of Boji is well-done and establishes this world quite well. No, it doesn't feel like there's a massive world out there, but it feels like there is a kingdom, at least.
Boji's entire upbeat attitude is endearing, but once you learn that he's just been holding it all in , it becomes all too real and easier to sympathise with him.
The twist at the end brings about some stellar animated action, and I'm all for it.
This show has a promising beginning, and I hope it only improves from here.

Daida: "Brother was fighting dirty."
Kage: "No matter what anyone else says, I think your style is just fine as it is."

Wow. I'm not usually the type of guy to really like a story's beginnings, but this show has had such a strong start.
It was such a bold and unexpected choice to shift this episode's focus onto Kage's backstory, and it really makes you look at him in a different light as he becomes easier to empathise with.
I still don't understand how Bojji hadn't shown his fighting ability before or why these people think dodging = fighting dirty, but oh well, it's a nice metaphor.
This world is also very cruel.

Yes, It's raining alright
I actually started watching FMAB to get this reference, and I.........
This whole series is adorkable, but this episode in particular is all kinds of beautiful. The pacing and the screenplay in this one made it almost feel like watching a movie rather than a TV show. And it was good to finally get some backstory on Sayaka.
Bad show but I'm sure we can all agree that we are fortunate nothing controversial happened...
Luz: "You!"
[Other Luz screams.]
Number Five: "I'm a basilisk, and technically, I— I shouldn't exist. My kind went extinct a long time ago. But we were brought back. They wanted to know how we drained magic."
Stranger: "I'll expose your vile plans on Mew-Tube and finally get my account verified."
Jacob Hopkins: "Usually I don't take it out for just anyone, but what the heck!? If I'm gonna be working with the government, I might as well show off a little!"
Luz: "Staying here was the best decision I ever made!"
Camila: "You... chose... to stay there?"
Luz: "Oh— uh..."

Hooty: [Thinking] "You were right, Lulu. These three needed my help. So I devised the plan of plans."
Eda: "Hooty, don't let me fall asleep!"
[Hooty falls over.]
Hooty: "Yup! One bite will put you to sleep for hours!"
Eda: "It wasn't your fault. It was yours!"
Eda: "Just tell them. Let them help!"
Eda: "Whoa."
Hooty: "I made it worse. I made it worse!"
Eda: "Hooty, wait. It's okay."Luz: "Okay. Everything is so crazy right now, and I have no idea what my future holds, but it would be so cool if you were in it, so, uh..."
[Luz takes a deep breath.]
**Amity: "Do you wanna go out with me?!"
[Luz exhales and facepalms.]
Luz: "No! I was so ready!"Hooty: "Oh, my gosh, a bug!"
[Hooty eats the envelope.]
Hooty: "Ah! Whoopsie! Hope that was junk mail!"

Can i say that the best episode so far was in fact without Boba Fett? I had more interest watching Din Djarin build his new ship than the last 4 episodes.
