Doctor Who: 1x04 73 Yards

An amazing episode, with stories and threads that will likely make much more sense later on. Suspense, mystery, and emotion, all masterfully woven together.

I agree. It was suspenseful and sad, mysterious and surprising in many ways, but we didn't get all the answers.
What did the old lady say that drove everybody mad (in every sense of the word)? How did that fairy circle work, what did its break do to the Doctor? The TARDIS did funny things in the past when the timeline was to be affected, so it maybe sensed an imminent time disturbace or something, and it went to shutdown, I don't know... The circle in 2024 contained references to a person 20 years into the future, that is also baffling.
I trust Davies has a big picture in his head, and we will get sense of it later.

Vikings: 4x16 Crossings

"My death comes without apology." But who is the one-eyed man who told them that Ragnar really is dead? Anyone?

@mg_grey It's Odin, leader of the gods known as Asir. The Allfather of the Scandinavian mythology. Norsemen also called him One-Eyed. His sacred animal is the raven.

Doctor Who: Special 6 Children in Need: Time Crash

This special was absolutely precious. I've never watched an episode of Classic Who but Tennant's absolute enthusiasm at playing alongside "his" Doctor was infectious. Just that genuine fanboy love radiated straight to the heart. Honestly it made me want to dive into Davidson's ers to see just why tennant loved him so much. Just a great cross over in general

@tshepiso_21 Yes, the dynamic between the two was great and hilarious in the same time. As for Tennant's love... Well, you have to show some love towards your father-in-law, even on set. :) ;)

Showrunners pictured a show that is based on science and math but the show shifted really fast after "I feel the future" part towards the end of season 1 and in season 2 you'll see people who can fly and throw or control other people with their mind. That kind of sudden change didn't serve well for season 2.

@lilian_io Yeah, the showrunners have discovered Dune and X-Men along the way...
